Up to ep 24 now and I like the development between Huan and Zhi Ming. The hair flick when Huan told her brother that he needs to go was funny and Huan seem comfortable with the un-intended (or maybe not) physical contact with Zhi Ming during the fishing episode. Huan's mother is still very annoying. I've had to fast forward a few of her unreasonable ranting, and really the way she talked about leaving the western style house when she was in front of Zhi Ming. Been reading here that she'll have a character development around ep 30 so just a few more episodes of suffering lol.
This is a nice melodrama and currently on ep 15. Yang Zi and Xu Kai have a surprisingly good chemistry and at this point in the story they are still in a boss-subordinate relationship but getting more friendly with each other after the bidding fiasco. I wonder at what episode will the friendship begin to ship to love and who gets attracted to whom first. I reckon it will be Zhi Ming. The most annoying part of the drama is the obnoxious mother. I've had my share of cdramas and quite familiar with filial piety but she is over the top and doesn't understand her daughter's feelings. I will likely fast forward future scenes of her rants in the next episodes.
Just watched ep 13 and really liked it because of numerous sweet moments between Hae-in and Hyun-woo. I’m really curious about Grace. She betrayed the mother and son team, but it looks like she’s with them again. I believe Hae-in will ultimately decide to have the operation despite the almost certain risk of losing her memories. I say this because what is the point of showing the delusional Eun-seong having the house staff remove the belongings that links Hae-in and Hyun-woo. Its obvious he wants Hae-in to lose her memories so that he can “start anew” by pretending/lying that he is Hae-in love. Only 3 eps left and still a lot of things left hanging including how Hae-in brother died, the hostile takeover arc and of course whether Hae-in will live or die. I don’t want a sad ending, but if Hae-in does lose her memories, I hope she doesn’t forget Hyun-woo. In a way this will be a miraculous ending. Btw Hae-in secretary is quite beautiful, especially when her hair was down. I predict a rating of 22 - 23% for ep 14.
Watched ep 12 and I was annoyed when Hae-in went with Eun-seong to cover up the fact that she mistook Eun-seong for Hyun-woo. Good thing she owned up later in the episode and told Hyun-woo the truth. Eun-seong is really a pitiful character. I mean he knows Hae-in doesn't like him in the slightest but he basically moved the whole household to prepare dinner. So glad that Hae-in got away from him in the house because of his mother's fault. The writers keep on pulling our heart strings with dramatic (Hae-in rejecting Hyun-woo's divorce withdrawal ring) and sweet (Hyun-woo pulling Hae-in into the sofa and Hae-in trying out the ring) moments. Sad that the grandfather had to do what he did, but I guess it was remorse because it was his fault why the Hong family is suffering right now. Finally Soo-cheol showing some backbone when he basically forgave Da-hye despite a violent reaction from his mother. The teaser at the end was interesting because it showed Hae-in and Hyun-woo wearing their rings again.
Finally finished watching, and it was an almost perfect ending with Shen Li saying she's pregnant. The perfect ending would have been a wedding witnessed by the 100,000 deities Xing Zhi was talking about. Anyway for those who have read the book, did Xing Zhi regain his divine powers?
Binge watched eps 18 to 35 during the weekend and it was time well spent. A lot of sweet moments between Shen Li and Xing Zhi in the fishing village while Shen Li was recovering but my favorite episodes were the ones in the Snowy Mountains. Ms Jin is now my favorite supporting character. The actress playing the role was perfect; sexy, seductive and naughty like a snake demon. Her dialogues were on point and I really had a lot of laugh when she was trying to make Shen Li and Xing Zhi admit that they did the thing in the cave. The episodes when Shen Li was in the Extranatural Heaven were a bit dragging but they were essential to the story as Shen Li finally found out who her parents were. The fighting scenes have finally started again in ep 35. I hope to finish the drama today.
Ep 11 was good but it didn’t quite answer the question if Hae-in and Hyun-woo are really divorced or not. Anyone the most interesting part was Hae-in mistaking Eun-seong for Hyun-woo. Who knows if there is a twist to this?!?!?! Assuming it is really Hyun-woo outside, just how will he get Hae-in from inside the car? Also in the ep 12 teaser Hae-in is wondering what is real or not. Please, please, please I will be really disappointed to see sweet moments between the lovers and it turned out in the end that it was Eun-seong. It will be a very effective way to make the viewers hate Eun-seong, but frankly for me that is poor writing and quite demeaning for Hae-in. So they used the amnesia card for the grandfather. Very clique but let’s just see how it pans out.
Just watched ep 14 and finally Shen Li got Xing Zhi to admit that he is Xing Yun. Once again she said that she is marrying Fu Rong and Xing Zhi is obviusly not too happy. Also, she said she fell in love with Xing Zhi not Xing Yun, but I suspect their relationship will have a development in the mortal realm.
Overall episode 10 is definitely the best so far with a number of interactions between Hae-in and Hyun-woo, their talk while eating popsicles, Hae-in undressing Hyun-woo to check his injury and the subsequent treatment of his wounds. I firmly believe the two are not officially divorced yet because Hae-in said "my mother in law" while talking to her secretary and I'm sure no one could forget when she said "my husband" during the Queen's press conference. Surely, she will not say a lie when she was accusing Eun Seong of treatening her. Too many things happened in this episode. The grandfather is awake. But who will get to him first, Grace and the aunt, or Eun Seong's mother? Da Hye was also shaken when Soo Cheol messaged her thru the game they used to play. Hyun-woo's mother finding out about Hae-in's sickness and also her dissapointment with Hyun-woo for considering divorce. She doesn't know how much her son has suffered, but at the same time it shows how much she values the relationship between two people, thus the aforementioned dissapointment with Hyun-woo. The biggest dissapointment is still Hae-in's mother because at the moment she doesn't have a single shred of trust with Hae-in. Looking forward to eps 11 and 12 next week and hopefully 20% rating

It was satisfying when the 2ML said she isn't getting Hae-in position in the company and instead told her to escape to the USA. It is going to be downhill for the badguys the moment they suceeded in their hostile takeover. 2ML and his mother already having differences in opinions. The mother is also targetting Hae-in's position, but 2ML again said it is for Hae-in. The thing that surprised me was the 2ML actually was able to remove grandfather from the hospital. Isn't his mother supposed to be guardian??? My favorite scene was the exchange between Hae-in and Hyun-soo about the MP3 player. Hae-in already knew it was her's but once again Hyun-soo wasn't being truthful when he said he can't remember who it was from. Anyway I'm sure Hae-in will tell him it was her before the end of this drama.
