Finally finished Season 2 last night, but I fast forwarded most of the episodes after ep 6. I just can't stand Nao's cluelessness and stupidity, Uehara's lack of emotion and hardheadedness, and Natsume's traitorous actions. Glad the ending was the expected happy one. But the way to it was very bumpy indeed because of too many wrong assumptions by the love birds. Happy when Uehara punched Natsume because what right does Natsume have to punch Uehara in the first place.
This was fun weekend watching, but I have to admit I only watched it because the actresses playing Nao and Yuri were really cute. The story is nothing new and the plot was tolerable in the first half of the drama, but seriously how many times does the cycle of love and angst have to happen. Nao is very clueless and insecure and Uehara doesn't know how to be a proper boyfriend. This type of drama is very common for kdramas, but I guess it isn't exclusive to them. I've started Season 2 and looks like the same pattern will start again. Nao does dress a lot better but she's still insecure. Uehara is showing more emotions now but again not enough. I would have punched someone who kissed my girlfriend. I mean who kisses someone by accident.
A nice short weekend watching as the FL was quite funny and the premise of the story will really leave you thinking. The part that I didn't like was actually the end, when it focused on the face of Chanel's mother after founding out that Day and Son have a boy. I mean Chanel finally grew a backbone but it seems it didn't affect her mother at all. If it was me, I wouldn't make a Season 2 as I don't think they can make it as fun and surprising as the first one.
I dont Ji Hyuk.Hes not handsom or attractive as drama wants to show. And also dont like his return to save Ji…
Recommend you continue watching because the story gets better. Sometimes we need to get over the physical attributes of the actors and just concentrate on the story
Saw that Anna Director's Cut is also in Prime, so stopped at ep 3 on the shorter version. The Director's Cut is definitely better because it doesn't feel rushed
Definitely the most annoying ep for me so far. I'd like to hit Yu-ra and Ji-won's mother's heads against each other. The mom is just plain greedy while Yu-ra is a sore loser. Actually Ji-won was annoying too as she didn't give Ji Hyuk the chance to properly explain. She also too righteous by breaking up with Ji Hyuk after finding out he had an ex-fiancee. I mean really???!!! So the cheating husband and wife and the ex-fiancee are basically going to triple team Ji-won. I hope this arc finishes in one episode. Although honestly I think this will drag to at least ep 14.
Had no idea what Anna was all about, but I watched it because of Bae Suzy. I'm currently at ep 3 and all I can say is "wow" to all the lies coming out of Yu Mi. Crazy that her lies haven't caught up with her. I'm sure it will happen in the end. Nonetheless the drama is interesting and as usual Bae Suzy never fails to deliver.
Been wondering why this wasn't in Netflix Australia then discovered by accident it was in Amazon Prime. Me and my wife marathoned it during the weekend. PMY has always been one of my favorite kdrama actresses and she didn't dissapoint here. I also had no idea about the webtoon so was surprised with the time travel tingie. The cheating husband and best friend are convincing in their roles, especially the best friend. The actress playing the best friend has really striking eyes. I was surprised that the chef classmate was in the main role. Don't really like his acting. Looking forward to ep 11.
Currently at ep 5 and Season 2 is definitely not as good as Season 1. Too many new characters with their own issues. Although I'm really liking Go Minsi's character. She was already bad a** before but her new outfit and shorter hairs makes her even more bad a**. Also curious about the hybrid child.
Finished watching it earlier after marathoning the last 7 eps. The ending was really interesting and my attention was really piqued when I read that season 2 will be in the present time. Yoon Chae-ok was revived when Seishin transferred the nagin into her dead body. She wasn't injected with anthrax so she will keep her appearance. I wonder if she will still have the power that Myeong-ja had. She will likely remember that happened to her especially Master Jang. I reckon Lady Maeda could be the main enemy in Season 2. She was shown to have a scarred face and seem crippled at the end of Season 1 but Kato gave her a cup which I assume has nagin. My main query is why Ho-jae looks like Master Jang? Also is he the baby of Myeong-ja who we saw had a najin going to his brain? Can't wait for Season 2!!!
I’ve liked the FL acting in Angels Last Mission and See You in My 19th Life and this drama is no exception for me. Usually we have the ep 8 or 9 syndrome as the turning point in the relationship of the ML and the FL and whilst this drama is following the same track it is dragging it on a bit because of the cliche “I can’t remember because I was drunk” line. They obviously still love each other but the ML father is in the way. I hope the ML will put his father in his place. The actor playing the father does his part well as he is really annoying. I can say the same with the FL mother. The actor playing her seems to have been stereotyped in that role. Usually poor, very stubborn and has the tendency to hit her children. I’m being tempted to fast forward scenes showing the pathetic 3rd wheel (I don’t like 2ML in general). So far I rate this drama an 8. It could go up or down depending on what happens in the last episodes.
Originally didn't like the final song Fly Away, but the more I listen to it the more I appreciate Park Eun Bin's vocal range. However, Someday is still my favorite.
Glad they didn't drag the wait for the wedding and seriously Do Do-hee was hot in that wedding dress. Regardless of the rating, the episodes are getting more exciting with the bad guys interacting with the lovebirds. Gu-won blocked the wedding day kiss, but expect a higher rating on ep 7 with that photobooth kiss.
A nice perfect ending to the drama, but her final song was far from my favorite. Also I wonder how much scenes were cut to make this a 12 ep instead of a 16 ep drama. The promotional poster showing Mok-ha with a longish dress and a seashell on her ear wasn't even shown.
About 2/3 of the way into ep 12 and I'm loving it so much. There was no wasted scene, and the biggest question between the good dad and the evil dad was answered and resolved within the first 10 minutes. The evil dad gambled his life thinking he can still ruin the lives of his ex-family, but he lost the gamble and ended up with nothing. The good dad's sacrifices from long time ago were rewarded and aside from getting back their real names, he was finally able to marry Ki-ho and Chae-ho's mother for real. We thought President Lee was also beyong salvation, but later we found out that it was actually Ran-joo's mother who shredded the invoice because she wanted Ran-joo to be a singer forever. Honestly I find this a bit selfish on the mother's part. So far this is the only part of the episode that I find a bit meh. Funny exchange between Mok-ha and Mo-rae. I knew they will not be enemies till the end and it took President Lee's action of switching their songs to reach a sort of peace. President Lee is confident that this switch is better for both artist, and he even bet his position and shares to Ran-joo. I'm pretty sure he did the right decision. I knew the writers were messing with us when they seem to insinuate that Chae-ho/Woo-hak will tell Mok-ha how he feels. As it turned out he was telling Ki-ho to tell Mok-ha all the things he did to find her. Took quite sometime for Ki-ho and Mok-ha to have their alone time in the rooftop but it was worth the wait because Ki-ho found out that Mok-ha already knew the things he did for her. My favorite statement is when Mok-ha said that in the deserted island the stars are up above but here in the city there were down below. This is a nice way of saying that before she was wishing for her dreams but now she is living out her dreams. I'll probably take more toilet breaks to finish the episode. Lol just kidding. I'll write another POV for the remaining parts of the episode after I finish watching. Hoping ep 12 will reach 10%.
