This comment! Exactly my feelings...I love the tug and pull so much more than the dating eras, because you can feel so much tension, you can feel his need to pull her into a hug and you can also feel how she really wants to be with him, but her mind isnt allowing her to yet :)

I am in that boat too, I like longer episodes and longer shows..keeps me more invested with the characters and I love costume dramas :)

Differing opinion, but I quite like their chemistry...the tug and pull is fun, I am biased towards ZY but I am convinced she can create chemistry with a stone :)

Appreciate this post and the sentiment tied to it. I dont usually comment a lot on dramas, except for ZY, since I am her fan, so her dramas attract my attention more :) Having said that I see what you mean with some haters and constant criticism in other dramas. I think some amount of healthy commenting about a certain sub-plot or acting style is ok, but it does get excessive turning into fan wars too sometimes. For this drama, it is a silly rom com so enjoying with that viewpoint is the best approach! Thanks again for the post :)

I'm really glad everything is cleared up now and he apologized. I legit started to feel bad for him in this episode...YQ should start to soften soon :)

I know right? Its a lighthearted romcom and its delivering in spades for what it is meant to be!!

Turning a seemingly simple story with all the classic romcom tropes and making it delicious to watch - I have to give it to the actors for their chemistry and the director/writing team for knowing that and exploiting it :) I am in it for the ride - they are visually very appealing!

She is still mad at him at this point in the novel. Someone follows her all the way home from work, gets into the lift and all is acting very suspicious. So she gets super scared and does not go into her house and knocks on GX's door instead calling him "brother". He opens the door half dressed and she just rushes in all scared. He then helps her look at surveillance and accompanies her to and from work and they start getting closer as a result..its very cute :)

The stalker stuff happens after the drunk harassment so we might see it I think..that was the push to take them closer?

I interpreted that as her way of questioning herself. She was being misled by everyone in her life and we all do some crazy things in love. Yes, she was stupid and silly, but she redeems herself after episode 6. She also proves that IQ level with her work prowess later on..so watch on :)

They explain his POV a little where he tells his friend that he feels like he can become her emotional anchor and is enjoying that..not justifying his behavior, but he is a bit devious and wants to have his cake and eat it too. He is also enjoying her disclosures about why she likes GX and how she went out of her way to understand his work because she liked him. This really will make the blow up in Episode 12 even more delicious making him work doubly hard to win her back.

Just hold on and get to episode 7 - she is an absolute firecracker after! The contrast was amazingly well done by her :)

Oh I dont hate the ML at all, I just like the tug-pull I am seeing in the show, it just makes for fun viewing from my POV. If you notice, I did say she wont be able to resist his charms, so I am looking forward to them starting on a clean slate with no misunderstands and hidden identities. I have read the novel, so I know what will happen, its the drama execution that is exciting !

Really want to see her with a Cheng Xingxu...both are such good actors and I think they will light the screen on fire :)

Episode 12's preview had me rubbing my hands with glee! Bring on some angst and let GX come clean so they can begin their relationship on a clean note. She wont be able to resist his charms and I cant wait to see that phase :) I also liked how they resolved the work angle and how now the team is more appreciative and supportive.

What is this I am hearing Lin Yi has another drama starting in parallel with this one? So unfair to fans of both shows...but I hope they release episodes of this show sooner as a result :)

I really liked the challenge they threw YQ's way, it flows better than the novel, where they just describe that she is struggling with the visualization..this added drama makes for better viewing and then also gives her the professional growth to add to her journey. The rose petals were so cute and the GX's accent had me ROFL-ing all the way through. Him being jealous is so squeal worthy

24, I did not see an updated schedule either, I wish they would just release everything at once

I know, the one episode a day is killing me :( What kind of marketing tactic is that beats me ! Im guessing its to attract viewership to other shows they will be (are) airing currently so people stick to Youku.
