Korean content always had violence and sex. This is nothing new. Check out handmaiden, a frozen flower etc. Just because PG 13 romcom genre are more popular, people assumed that K-content has no nudity/gore. There’s a reason this series is on OTT with a 19+ rating. It’s a great show in its genre, but it’s not for everybody. The same people raving over Game of thrones and House of the dragons are criticizing Queen Woo, just because it is Korean. Sex is part of royal culture, depicts that the royals weren’t these pious monogamous beings, the mainstream dramas portrays them to be. And good thing about streaming service is you can just skip the scenes that bother you and use parental control for 19+ rated shows for minors.
Isnt JCW playing the queen's husband who dies....he is likely featuring in 1 episode of this
The whole series is going to be based on 24 hours after the King’s death, and since JCW is listed as a lead, not supporting cast, we could see him a lot in the first half and flashbacks in the second half.
It’s saturday and I don’t know what to do with my life. I kinda feel empty now that the show has ended. I love everything about this show. Can’t wait to see JCW onscreen again.
“Having a place to return to is an incredible relief.” This line sums up the story so perfectly.
For me this drama is like a warm cuddle from my home and loved ones in another continent. It was so wholesome and well executed. Each character had a backstory, each episode had a theme and the chemistry between the leads, the friendship and relationships, the place, the cinematography, the acting… everything was so perfect. I wish it had never ended. I can watch them forever. It’s so sweet and realistic and very different from the mainstream dramas that focus on fantasy, revenge, thriller or cheesy office romance. Makes you nostalgic and miss your loved ones and your hometown. I feel kinda empty now that it ended. No other dramas attract my attention.
JCW is filming bulk till June and also shooting for revolver, releasing his second song, doing fan meeting in…
I haven’t edited my comment! Revolver promotions are yet to happen, and bulk filming has just begun, so SC still not dropping any time soon (the original discussion topic) and not sure why you are so rude but hope you feel better.

No where did I say anything about Queen Woo, but wrapping up shooting doesn’t mean you are done with the project. There will be promotions involved for both Revolver and Queen Woo. There are no articles or trusted sources saying all the shooting is wrapped up for either Queen Woo or Revolver. I was talking about the Days theater release in 2024 (this is the only thing I wasn’t completely sure about cause there were information on the tickets for 2024, but not about if JCW is doing it) and the fan meeting in Japan for 2024 is already scheduled. And shooting for Bulk, which is the primary project, right now is gonna take 6 months, so coming back to the main question “whether Sculpture city will drop soon or not”, still stays the same, probably end of 2024 and no that’s not misinformation.
The moral of the story is: You don’t have to face everything alone. It’s okay to rely on your loved ones when things get tough. We are social beings and it actually takes a community to raise a dragon. It’s easy to get lost in the blinding lights and assume that you are all alone, but your home will always be waiting for you. It’s okay to take time to heal and put your mental peace before everything else. It’s so easy to judge someone based on a piece of gossip, but the half baked news could be crushing someone’s hope, life and dream. It’s okay to cry, it’s okay to be vulnerable, that doesn’t make you weak. If you keep faith in your dreams and love, you can even rise from the ashes. Romance doesn’t put a pause in your career, with the support of the right person, you can even touch the stars. Take chances, be it in love or dreams, regardless of the circumstances.
#WelcomeToSamdalri climbs to #4 from #8 on #Netflix most searched #romance genre within 12 hrs.The way this show slowly warmed up to people & gained popularity is as precious as the healing journey of the main characters.Such a beautiful drama & the perfect casting. Will miss it.
I hate this drama soooo much but at the same time i love it lol. Just my opinion but few of the characters are…
I find the dolphin guy story slow and boring. I like the parallels in Jindal and Samdal’s stories though. I guess it really depends on what piques the interest of people.
Totally wrong move. He should confess and move on. For those of you in a similar position in your lives, once…
If I know that my crush is in a happy and committed relationship, I would never confess. Not only because it will ruin my friendship with my crush and their partner, but also because it’s very disrespectful to the couple, especially the partner. I wouldn’t like my best friend confessing to my partner either. It’s one thing if we have broken up or not committed to eachother, but once we’re in relationship, they should respect the relationship and the bro code. There are other ways to move on.
