Original Joe's remains as per the novel...

It's just the bones draped in his clothes and some camera equipment since in the novel he died not during filming rather while carrying some equipment with the rest of the crew during heavy rainfall in the hills and there is a landslide which eventually helps in uncovering his remains. Also Ming doesn't allow anyone to enter the room where his bones are kept and they do some DNA testing or something to identify that it is actually Joe's remains.
