I can't find my other comment, to add. I've just watched up to ep8, watching 9 now. so there hasn't been any romance…
There is clear romantic tension between many of the characters tho. The way yeongseo panics when jy's lips touch her fingers. And when juran panics when jy acts as her love interests and avoids acting with her because she can't focus due to it
Honestly the real villains are the Baek group... they adopted a child just to manipulate her and raise her with no love, or very conditional love. Harin understood very young that she would only be accepted if she performed well and not "sloppy" like grandma baek always says. I can't believe they actually just abandoned her, who was still a minor, just like that, after raising her for almost a decade.
I kinda of understand where Harin is coming from too. To share your most vulnerable secret with your close friend, only to have them expose the secret, betray you and watch you get severely bullied without lifting a finger to help. Harin also had no emotional or any othe forms of support too during her term of getting bullied... Further more, her orphanage didn't was a competitive place too as she had to score high points in her pyramid game there or she will get less food and clothes. So cruel.. So it's no wonder she wanted to become powerful and get her revenge, plotted her strat to be adtoped by Baek group, and had to grow up in that cold environment.
It makes sense that Harin, a victim with no positive role models, emotional support, healthy home environment developed into someone that is mean, cruel, hateful who also bullies, the vicious cycle perpetuates itself...
And Jaeun's appearance brought back all the past, awful memories of hurt, betrayal back the instance she saw her, only to witness Jaeun feeling relieved and forgiving herself after a few minutes of conversing with Harin, of course Harin get fucking mad. How many years of emotions have been building inside of Harin? The person who put you through hell just forgiving herself like that? Thinking that just saying a sorry is enough?
Perhaps if Harin grew up with love, she would have slowly forgiven Jaeun, and accepted the fact that Jaeun was only 9, and that it was a mistake she regretted. So I wish Harin can get a second chance, for her to be surrounded by love this time. Jaeun would be the key to Harin's recovery from her childhood trauma if a season 2 ever happens. Becuase Harin getting abandoned like this... without ever knowing what love, from family, from friends, from herself, is so sad to witness. Of course, she should too pay for what she did, and appologize to all those that she has affected, especially Woori.
Can someone please explain to me in simple terms the reason why Ha Rin transferred Soo Jin into her class?
she said she wanted to guilt trip jaeun so that jaeun can feel worse, as she will be feel horrible that another F is suffering because of her as she is the reason this pyramid game is happening now. The previous F woori quit school so Suji is transfered in to take her place as the new F.

Kim Jiyeon (Bona). and the rookie cast (which is the majority of the main cast) did SUCH a great job. Especially Jang Da Ah as Baek Harin, as this is her debut appearance. Absolutely NAILED the villain role. The depth of her portrayal, the range of emotions she expresses through just her eyes is really impressive. I have high hopes for her and am excited to see her future drama. She definitely carried this drama for me as I cant imagine any other actress as Baek Harin! Same goes to Bona, though we already know shes a great actress from her previous works~
