Yes, this will have express, no way Youku will miss a chance to charge us more money 😂Excited for Blood River…
Lmfao damn, you sound like you’ve been through it with this drama 😭 I totally get you though t 😩 As for the SML, same! He’s giving the exact same energy he had in LLTG… maybe he’ll surprise us later, but right now he’s just annoying me 💀
Honestly, since this whole plot started with deception, I’m not that shocked it’s taking the ML ages to put the pieces together — but the clues have been screaming at him! And the FL? Girl, how do you still not get the depth of this man’s feelings? He’d literally hand her his heart on a platter if she asked 😭 This could’ve been wrapped up like 15 episodes ago.
I love both leads though, so I keep giving them leeway — otherwise I’d probably have rage-dropped this already 😂

I'm thinking they’ve realized that historical/fantasy dramas have long post-production cycles (VFX, censorship approvals, reshoots, etc.), and those delays make it risky to rely on just one hit at a time. So now they stack a few dramas — sometimes even overlapping — to keep the app alive in case one underperforms. It’s like running parallel hype engines.
And yeah, they absolutely gatekeep. Some dramas sit on the shelf for 2–3 years waiting for a “good release window” (aka no other big titles stealing attention, or until a lead actor becomes hot again). Then suddenly — boom — it drops with two episodes and a cliffhanger that wrecks your sleep schedule.... I'm absolutely losing my sleep over LITC, but I also understand that these things....they’re just painfully calculated
they are only releasing one episode a day, damn... why dragging it on, new drama "red river" or "blood…
Youku’s playing the long game here. Releasing just one episode a day keeps viewers hooked, talking, and boosting engagement across socials — it’s all about staying in the trending zone for weeks instead of days.
Running Love in the Clouds and Blood River side by side isn’t a mistake either; it’s a strategy to keep costume-drama fans glued to the platform. When one drama slows down, the other picks up the buzz, so Youku never loses traffic.
Basically it’s marketing psychology in period robes.
The one Thing that kind of annoyed me about this episode was that now that he has figure out that she’s the…
LMAOO exactly! I swear scrolling through the comments lately feels like watching a custody battle between ML and FL haters 😭 like babes… they’re both dummies! Adorable, powerful, emotionally constipated dummies — but dummies nonetheless. I love them to bits but sometimes I just wanna bonk both their heads together so the last two brain cells can connect 😂💀

Omg, say no more, for me noble idiocy and unnecessary dragging is at the top amongst my most hated tropes, at this point it's just them writers lacking creativity or trolling, thinking the drama needs more drama, but damn, there are many examples of dramas that don't do that and they are amazing, even the drama Fated Hearts that recently finished airing has proven that you can write two badass leads and even with 2 amnesia tropes thrown into the mix and have them act mature, in character and still be captivating... Here it took almost 3/4 of the damn drama 🤦♀️ I am in awe of the viewers that could do this back in the day when they were releasing 90 episodes....I could never.
Personally I like it a lot but that it's also because I'm a huge fan of both leads so I'm biased. Even tho the misunderstanding is making me very frustrated, over all I really enjoy it. It has amazing chemistry of the leads, them being a manipulative, messy chaos in the beginning, but as the story goes, it gets better imo. However I will always say to try and see for yourself because what works for me may not work for you

That's a good mindset to have when getting into any drama 👏👏👏 Yup, the cast and visuals and fight scenes look dope, I'm gonna wait for more episodes to drop and hop on the train.
Ikr? Which I understand, however this early access and express package thing took a while to get used to, I was flabbergasted when I first started watching airing cdramas lol cause if for example you're watching 3 dramas that are airing at the same time on different platforms and you want early access it's pilling quite a hefty price per month. This dragging misunderstanding clusterfluff has me exhausted. I hate it when they do that in cdramas omgggg. Lmao same, give me all kinds of CGI monsters, Death eaters, whatever it takes cause I love everything fantasy and cool fighting choreography, I'll eat it all up, provided the plot is plotting...
