Jelly/Dudu Wifey got a bone to pick with you 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh, they simply have to. Because I really, truly hope they finish this series. that is if there *is* a second season, I want the entire original cast to return and see the story through to the end—because I love them so much, I certainly don't want any new faces; I just couldn't accept that. I only want the original cast back.
I originally thought this series wouldn't premiere until November 30, 2026. At the time, I couldn't help but exclaim inwardly: "Good grief! That feels like an eternity away!" But then I had a change of heart: *Oh well, at least we finally have a concrete date*—unlike *The Eternal Fragrance*, which doesn't even have a tentative release date anywhere in sight. Just as I was resigning myself to this reality, I started hearing—time and again—that the show would actually air in June or July. I was completely baffled: "What? Is that really true?" So, I decided to verify it myself, only to discover that the listed premiere date was November 30, 2025. But that was last year—how could that date possibly be correct? Now, I’m just hoping it premieres sometime this month, because I’ve been incredibly bored lately and am really eager to find a show to watch to help pass the time. This is especially true since I just finished *Veil of Shadow* and still haven't quite managed to move on from it yet; consequently, I’ve now pinned all my hopes on this series.
I saw someone said on TikTok, that if *Veil of Shadow* were to get a second season, the focus should shift to the second generation—after all, the first season already had a satisfying conclusion. That ending was utterly unsatisfying. If there truly is a second season, the storyline ought to pick up by explaining exactly what transpired after the past was altered—after all, the current reality has completely diverged from the world we know; how, then, can all of this be satisfactorily resolved? Furthermore, I sincerely hope that the entire original cast returns—that is my greatest wish.
please tell what u mean Tiktok is banned in my country
My heart truly goes out to every actor in the first season. They poured themselves completely into their respective roles, delivering truly exceptional performances—each one breathing vivid life into their character. If there is indeed a second season, they rightfully deserve to return.
Okay, let me try to give another, more hopeful interpretation of the ending. It is a widely accepted interpretation…
I hope that if they plan to make a second season, they can bring all the actors back; but if they want to change the actors, then they shouldn't make it at all, because that would be pointless.
Okay, let me try to give another, more hopeful interpretation of the ending. It is a widely accepted interpretation…
Thank you — this helped me more than I can say. I was feeling really upset and thought the ending was so unfair, but your interpretation made everything feel less hopeless. Knowing they could still be in the same universe (and not lost to some modern era) gives me comfort and hope that one day they might be reunited with the people who matter to them. I’m so grateful you took the time to explain it — it really lifted a weight from me.
Wuyi and Wangyan's bonds are fake; those bonds don't actually exist because Jiu Ying altered all of their memories.…
I don't agree it is true the memories Lu Wuyi had before birth are fake, but her later memories weren't given to her by Jiu Ying. The memories Jiu Ying gave Lu Wuyi were from several years before her birth; those were the memories of her other sisters. The memories they had later were what truly belonged to them.
sometimes keeping world peace means individuals sacrifice 😭😭😭😭😭😭
And that's the saddest part. It's one thing to sacrifice and be remembered, but the most tragic thing is that they sacrificed themselves for the world and no one remembers their sacrifice; only one person remembers, and everyone else forgot. 😭😭
SPOILER WARNING — Episode 27 (Veil of Shadows). Just sharing how I finally understood the meaning of the prophecy.
After rewatching episode 27 the prophecy clicked for me: • "The old dragon falls." → Ji Ling (Chi Wen), whose last power was sealed away. • "The new dragon rises." → Wu Shiguang, the Ten Dragon who emerges as the new force. • "Heaven and earth tremble; chaos fills the world." → Jiuying’s attack: the Four Formless Moon Sisters target the Four Pillars, threatening everything. • "An old soul returns against time." → Ji Ling returns early, ripped back into a world already falling apart. • "A new moon reshapes the world." → Lu Wuyi’s sacrifice: her choice to die is the painful pivot meant to remake reality and stop Jiuying.
Why this matters to me Watching this episode made the prophecy stop feeling like a poetic line and start feeling like the story’s purpose: to show the cost of protecting the world—what gets sacrificed, who gets erased, and how memory and identity are everything. It’s not just about twists; it’s about why these characters suffer and why their choices mean so much.
Just my take — would love to hear if anyone else finally clicked on this after a rewatch.
I dislike the ending of this drama because Lu Wuyi and Wu Wangyan are sisters, deeply devoted to each other and supportive of one another. But after Ji Ling changed the past, they forgot each other and no longer recognized one another. Lu Wuyi and Ji Ling are no longer in their original world; they live in another world, far from family and friends. Ji Ling and Li Jie are brothers; they should have been together. Li Jie's purpose in life was to protect his younger brother, Ji Ling. Ji Ling changed the past and the present also change; everyone except Wu Shiguang has forgotten Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi. Li Jie is now struggling to find himself, to find meaning in his existence, and to find the person who keeps echoing in his mind, saying "Come find me," but he doesn't even know who that person is or their name. Even death would be better than this; At least people will remember them; the world will remember their courage and sacrifice. Their loved ones will remember their importance to each other and to the world, to everything they did and the sacrifices they made. But if they are forgotten while still alive, all their efforts and sacrifices will be meaningless—what's the point? No matter how I think about it, I cannot accept this as a happy ending, because it's unfair. They should be together. They should return to their original world. No matter how I look at it, I cannot accept this as a happy ending.
Have you heard that a second season of Veil of Shadow is in development? I just hope Ju Jingyi can continue to play Lu Wuyi. I can't imagine anyone more suitable to play Lu Wuyi than her; she portrayed the character so well. I hope all the main characters can return, really, I hope everyone can return. If that's not possible in the end, then I just hope all the main actors can return.
