I think the only thing Season Two needs to explain is how Li Jie got his name. If Ji Ling died because there was no Lu Wuyi to save him, and by the time Li Jie arrived Ji Ling was already gone, then who gave Li Jie that name?
Also, how did Wushiguan find out that he was the Tenth Dragon if Ji Ling was already gone?
And how did Wushiguan’s little friend become so powerful? He wasn’t even strong during the Butterfly Demon and the great demon Jiu Ying arcs, so how did he suddenly become so powerful?
If Ji Ling was already gone, the Butterfly Demon’s purpose was to free Ji Ling from suffering. The Butterfly Demon should have disappeared after realizing that Ji Ling was gone. It wouldn’t have stayed and caused more trouble. Jiu Ying was defeated, so how did that character become powerful afterward?
Those are the things that need to be explained.
I also hope that if Season Two is made, they explain all of that, bring the two sisters back together, and end the story peacefully. They were two sisters who were always together and inseparable. It’s painful that they were separated and made to forget each other. Now they’re living happily in another world without realizing that the other one exists. We’re the ones left to suffer because of that.
If there is ever a Season Two, those are the issues that should be addressed. Everyone from the original cast should return. They shouldn’t change anyone; the original actors were perfect. I definitely won’t watch Season Two if they recast everyone.

Later, when Jiang Lifei discovered his past attempt on her life, she confronted him directly. He apologized and claimed he never truly intended to kill her, though he could not fully explain himself. He swore to atone with his life, even stabbing himself with her dagger until he lost consciousness. Jiang Lifei ultimately stayed up all night tending to his wounds.
From then on, he sought to prove his sincerity through his actions, promising never to harm her again. Whenever she found herself in danger, he would step forward to save her time and again. Gradually, Jiang Lifei came to trust him once more; she lowered her guard and began to view him as a vital person in her life.
On one occasion, Lei Xiuyuan was critically injured—nearly losing his life—while protecting her. Jiang Lifei exhausted herself trying to save him; after successfully pulling him back from the brink of death, she collapsed from sheer exhaustion and remained unconscious for three full days. Upon waking, her first concern was his safety; she rushed to embrace him tightly and made him promise never to do something so reckless again.
Later, she showed him where she lived and even introduced him to her friends from "Qinchuan," describing him as her best friend—someone as close as family. She also pledged to help him rescue his sworn brother, vowing that they would face life and death together.
However, he ultimately betrayed her and attempted to take her life once more. This devastated Jiang Lifei, leaving her heartbroken. Therefore, I believe it is unfair to criticize her for how she treats him now. He inflicted deep wounds upon her, so it is only natural that she can no longer trust him. He must earn that trust back.
It is unfair to blame her for her harsh attitude toward him. She is heartbroken. It was his betrayal that shattered her heart, and wounds take time to heal. She needs time to trust him again; after all, he hurt her deeply.
It is unfair to accuse her of being cold, ungrateful, or hard-hearted. People are often quick to judge the female lead. I’ve seen plenty of domestic dramas where the male lead even attempts to kill the female lead, yet they still end up together—and the audience turns around and blames the female lead for doing something wrong.
In this case, the female lead is wary of the male lead, going out of her way to avoid him and wanting nothing to do with him; meanwhile, the male lead is relentless in his pursuit, trying to atone and clearly expressing his remorse. Even so, everyone blames the female lead for being cold and unfeeling.
Yes, I do want them to reconcile. I miss the days when they were together and hope they get back together—the sooner, the better. But I cannot blame Jiang Lifei. She was hurt, and healing takes time. If Lei Xiuyuan has to put in the effort to win back that trust, it is only fair—because he was the one who caused the hurt in the first place.
We shouldn't simply jump to conclusions like "Oh, he deserves it" or "Oh, she's too cold." We really shouldn't.
