I am starting to see the inconsistency in the set up of FL’s character. I am disappointed. I thought FL because…
I hated that scene so much. I heard it's not even in the novel. They're showing this creep down our throats to create cheap comedic moments and unnecessary drama with SY.
i just realised the actor for MCY is under wajijiwa which is the production house for this drama so it makes soo…
I blame the writers for bringing Yifan's IQ down the the low 60s so that they can have their unnecessary jalousy comedic scene later between MCY and SY.
I believe that once Yi Fan successfully confronts her past trauma, she'll eventually start loving Sang Yan passionately. The notion that she doesn't need to explain herself to him is absurd—she broke their promise, even if her reasons were justified. It's like being married for years and then having your partner vanish without a word, leaving no note behind. Would that be acceptable? Absolutely not. So, when the time is right, I'm convinced Yi Fan will explain why she left because, at the very least, she owes him that much.
It's very different, but accurate from a historical standpoint. But I understand why many wouldn't like it.
In the novel, his wives are: Su Tan Er, Lu Hongti, and Lui Dabiao. His concubines are: Xiao Chan, Nie Yun Zhu, and Jin’er. He has like 7 kids between them. lol
Yes, and the FL approves. Each woman has a unique and interesting relationship with him and they all get along. If you can get past the harem, it's a pretty good story. It's very political. My issue with the novel is that it's too long. The author needs an editor.
"She didnt just punish him she broke him over 10 years and made him her mental slave...she saw him suffer and…
Yeah, it's pure garbage toxic femininity. I'm sure they'll probably tone the toxicity down quite a bit in the drama. They'll turn it into a comedy. I still won't watch knowing what I know.
Not sure why you think it’s a mediocre adaptation but trailer is amazing so far https://youtu.be/N39_fcFttW8?si=GKpY7kSO6EImch1B…
I always give these adaptations a fair shot. But they always disappoint. They'll either whitewash the characters, add unnecessary plot points, or rush the ending. But I will give it a fair change. I'm just keeping my expectations super low.
