...I had to rewatch this episode because I was sure Liu had scruples because Tan was underage. However, if Tan is 20, I don't see a problem...unless Liu doesn't love him enough or has some other problem like Tan being disabled or something

Yay Qi Lu and Qin Xiao finally kissed!! We have one couple now!! Now we just need the other couple to get together.…
I think Liu is completely aware of his feelings but also that being romantically involved with a boy who is not even an adult is irresponsible and inappropriate. I also think so, because the age difference is too big and Tan is literally a child.... I would like them to be together but off the top of my head I think it is inappropriate. Maybe as platonic friends first?

On LoveSick 2024 Nov 15, 2024
Since Love Sick 2024 is supposed to be a remake of Love Sick 2014, the script seems to be already written, however, some aspects need to be changed, for example due to the age of the main characters, which is a big problem for me.
What was logical in LS 2014 unfortunately makes no sense at all in LS 2024.
The main problem here is Pum, who needs time to process the breakup with his lesbian girlfriend. Heeee????
I understand that in LS 2014, Pum had some reservations about leaving Aim and starting a relationship with Noa because he felt obliged to her. P and A had sex and romantic feelings for each other, so these scruples can be explained, but now? Pum 2024 has no feelings for Aim, they didn't have sex with each other and apart from shopping they had nothing else in common, so what does Pum need time for?
Here I see a complete failure of the scriptwriter. This plot is stupid, naive and simply illogical. I understand that LS 2014 is supposed to lead to the conclusion of LS 2024, but I think this is not the right way.
This naive plot is due to the age of the actors in my opinion. THEY are too young for this role. P and A in LS 2014 were 16 and 19 years old, which allowed for more adult behavior and themes, P and A 2014 could kiss and sleep in the same bed with the implication that they had sex with each other. This cannot be shown in this series and impoverishes the plot, making it naive and lifeless.

extremely hopeless BL drama. It could have focused better on this murder and made this BL just a crime about hobbyist detectives or something like that... It wasn't really BL just a bromance? Maybe a bromance or just friendship shown in a strange way because I haven't seen a bigger affection between two potentially adult guys. Even the kiss at the end of the series is fake because the Thai guy kisses the Korean guy in the place between the nose and the mouth or even more so on the cheek... is this how guys in love kiss, who at the age of college have storms of hormones and feelings for each other? No, I don't think so..... It was simply NOTHING. Waste of time! 2/10

Maybe it's just me, but this series is very naive and a bit boring.
Of course, it raises an important issue for people with disabilities and shows the lack of prospects to find a job etc., but the way it is recorded is boring. Yes, the main couple looks very nice, but that's about it......

The romance is scripted. And as far as we are concerned, they're not queer.
ok ok, yes I know there is a script, you can even feel it but I haven't heard any statements about the actors' preferences anywhere so I was surprised. Of course it doesn't matter if they are queer or alien, it's none of our business.

I like this series, I really do. I like every episode, the great and innovative ideas, and Mick and Top are a really great couple. I don't know what plans they have but I secretly hope that they will be a ship that will give us many more series together. Their chemistry is unique and because they are both so different visually as well as temperamentally and mentally it adds spice to this dish. Their erotic scenes are really great as well , the passionate kisses...who would have thought?
Of course I don't know how the series will go on so I will just speculate.

I think that the last episodes will show us the real life of the actors (not only BL actors).
The actors were hired to play their roles but privately they don't have the best relations with each other. They used to be lovers but broke up and at work, as if to spite them, they play lovers. Despite the fact that in real life they don't understand each other at all and stay out of each others way, they have to play a couple in love, touch and kiss for the role, so they have to hold back all the negative emotions they have for each other and play the characters.

Just life, isn't it?

Maybe it will also give the fans something to think about, how when it seems to them that these smiling actors on stage are the greatest friends or lovers in real life, it might not be like that in actuality. Of course they're not all best friends and super close so these situations aren't anything unusual. Such joint work, like as a ship, can quickly connect two people and even evoke romantic and erotic feelings between them, but it can also just as quickly bring them back to earth and pour cold water on them. However, the role of the couple in love must still be played convincingly.

Of course I hope that Mick and Top understand each other great in their private lives and that this series is just a fantasy in their case.

.....as it is a Chinese drama I think it will have a sad and tragic ending. I know that China is very, very homophobic and being gay (or generally a queer person) is a bad "decision" and only hetero relationships are happy and "right", this drama will show us this in all its glory. Being gay is the source of misfortunes and all plagues on earth, family and personal conflicts in general as well as internal dilemmas and traumas.
I have a very bad feeling ...
However, I will admit that this series has an atmosphere ... and is located in the right place and time. We know that within artistic circles there are a lot of LGBTQ+ people as well as people with alternative views and lifestyles. Winter time, falling stars, snow and etc. emphasize this atmosphere and the situation so that on the one hand it's very romantic but also cold to the bone.
I think we'll need a ton of tissues to wipe away our tears.

PS. The actors are really great, without embellishment, very natural in appearance and their interactions.....I'm delighted!

I know my opinion here will be completely different from everyone else's but... I can't watch this show. I started watching it and quit after two episodes because I just couldn't...
Just the combination of a grown man (cop) and a young student brings up strange associations in me. A grown man invites the boy to his house for cooking and idolizes him during that time. Oh my god! They look like father and son and just the thought that they might do something romantic together gives me a strange taste in my mouth... Imagine if instead it were a grown man inviting a young 18 year old girl to his house, everyone would be suspicious of it and weirded out by it, but since it's men...suddenly everyone claims it's cute? No, it's not cool, it's not cute, it's gross! No, absolutely impossible!
PS. I thought "Living with Him" was the worst BL ever, but no, this one is even worse!

The couple Mick and Top is the discovery of the year for me! They are great actors and the chemistry between them is out of this world. The best part is that the interaction between them is not a forced skin ship for the fans, but a sweet exchange with each other. I have never shipped anyone before, but I will now, just for fun of course.
Top is cute and hot, but Mick... Mick is like a model, he has a beautiful posture and aristocratic features and those EYES!!! OMG Mick and Top together are an amazing duo!

I like this theory. Although two things are making me feel like he did finish his studies: 1. The exam results…
On one side that makes sense, but at the same time the conversation with the mother gave me a pause since she pointed out that she's a university professor (at the university that they all (?) went to, if I'm not mistaken). For me that almost sounded a bit like a threat or in some way dangerous? Not sure how to explain it.
There are just so many unanswered questions about what happened in the last 10 years. For me it's interesting that if D is so talented and it's so easy for him to design such buildings, why did he become a supposed engineer now teaching English instead?

If you compare this series, or rather this episode, with the Thai version, there is nothing to even talk about; Boss as Payu and Rey sind unrivaled. It's just not the hot atmosphere between the main characters, not the erotic feeling, in general it is not that.
I think instead of comparing (although this is a difficult thing because it happens somehow automatically), we should treat it as a different series (?), otherwise it would be harmful, at least that's my opinion.
Yes, the main character is handsome and hot, but he doesn't have Boss's temper... he doesn't have that cynicism either and he can't flirt as hot... and I'm comparing again.
Wait and see, maybe everything will come...

TO be clear, are you saying D actually drew the plans and sold it to another architect who is famous for it, and…
betrug in the sense that D lies to himself that he has achieved success, even though, without a license, without having completed studies, he could not be an architect and sign his projects.

On Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo Nov 2, 2024
....after watching the last episodes for the third time, in the company of people who do not know the subject of BL, we came to the conclusion that D did not finish his studies and started making architectural plans for a famous architect, who realizes them as his own. These transactions are supervised by H (as a legal office) and that is why he is so confident in his relations with D, because in a way he holds him in his hand. H, asking J if he could umgehen with all this, was exactly what he meant, because what D and H do is to a certain extent fraud ! This explains the fact why D has money, where did he get the money to buy the school, apartment and German BMW! D's whole life is simply one big FAKE and that's why D takes pills and drinks, because when sober he realizes that he's only doing it to prove something to himself and forget about the life he had with his father in a small town in the province. Seeing J again brought back memories of the obstacle and D has a conflict with himself, because he still has feelings for J and many claims and there is an unexplained situation between them and many unasked questions. I think J is slowly starting to understand the situation, because he came across the architectural projects and the date of their implementation

After I put it down "not indefinitely" after two episodes, the series stroked my soul terribly after watching…
You don't have to be gay or lesbian to fall in love or have a romantic relationship with someone of the same sex. You just have to meet the right person and reject all standards, which is why I think the guys shown here are just open people. They are students, so they are intelligent people, and perhaps because of the "job" they do, a relationship with a person of the same sex gives them a feeling of security and real love.

There is no such thing as a "psychopathy gene," but research shows that psychopathy has a hereditary component. Even if a parent does not suffer from psychopathy, he/she may carry one or more genetic variants that increase the likelihood of their child developing psychopathy.
Some children are at higher risk for psychopathy from birth - but what parents do still matters.

You took it to a really dark place! Its too much of a stretch.
This is a very dark place, just look at those moments when the coach abused the students and how he treated his son and J. Look at who D grew up to be, who this man is........all of this together is even darker than I wrote
