I am also done with the drama but I ain't gonna color her like some POOR INNOCENT WOMAN when she was clearly a spy. None of his doubts were wrong. However he was, Wei Family weren't traitors and they paid heavily for trusting people. All of them...right from the father and brother...to Wei Shao and his generals. I am not gonna hide her obvious failures and her biases because her gender happens to be the same as mine.
Nope! This is not the "Stong independent woman" I want...

That's real audience. Cdrama simply has more audience because of more people watching them...but MDL has more kdrama bias because international audience generally know kdrama first. Look at most popular dramas on MDL in the last 5 years.... its now that Cdrama audience has started expanding internationally and you see cdramas getting more attention here...which they rightly deserve!

The whole concept of "multiple seasons" is very american. They should ditch it. Kdramas gained popularity because they were a few episodes and "one and done". Fine...2 seasons with few episodes if people really really want it but three is unnecessary and bound to fail

This drama parodies the cdrama tragedies. Lol! She doesn't take this world seriously because she has read the script...but upon her entry, the script changes and so do the characters and she is unable to see that ...she still hasn't figured that out and honestly, she doesn't care enough because its all fake to her. Lol!

She is gonna take the excuse of the "plot armour" ...lol!

He has given back to back good performances. Dramas are about entertainment and this guy is an entertainer. The dramas you are talking about...are both fun to watch. What you are referring to is a recency bias. It has always existed on MDL and its the same for all artists. I generally ignore recency bias but here, I voted for him because I have watched both his dramas...a lot of people have!
Both genres he performed in naturally attracts audience so its not a surprise that a lot of people watched it for comfort and voted for him. Ngl, I was a bit surprised too because MDL had kdrama bias since many many years...but its good to see many cdrama actors here.

The romance is disappointing indeed but doesn't affect the drama much because its not important. He has soo much chemistry with all other women.

The ML's biggest mistake was not guarding against the FL and blurring lines between personal and professional life. She continued spying...and holding secrets but he stopped spying mid way. He also wanted to establish normal relations with the sister in law (after her betrayal) for her sake...when she didn't deserve it.
All of this happened because he didn't guard enough against the Qiaos. He managed to punish Lady Yu but... its the Qiaos who failed him and the FL couldn't be of much help because she was soo blind when it came to her family. A General should not act like that...if she was blindly biased towards her own, he should have held his own

Its not only NH who is completely different but also NH's mother and the FL's sister.
In the ep 15 and 16...you see more and more of those discrepancies which makes it clear that these characters are quite different

My friend, Have you seen English in ancient times? Chemistry equations? This was a historical drama script...but after the FL entered it, it became something very very different. I believe, the script is now a xianxia! So, the historical accuracy here doesn't matter at all.

That's the whole point of comedy. She mocked the heroine but she trusted the mask guy because she didn't read about him...and she is confident that he isn't the villain. Hence, he is some kind hearted but ignored character in her eyes

The FL is quite confident that its the script guy...but she fails to see that even the sister isn't acting according to the script...I wonder if the writer has changed the script altogether? There was no mask guy when she read it

So, that mask guy is ML's alter ego.
Also, when she enters the world, the characters don't follow the script...and therefore, she doesn't know about the alter ego dude. Everything she read in the original script doesn't make sense anymore but she doesn't know that. She hates the Ml simply because she thinks he is from that script. Apparently not! The characters are quite different

She loved the money 💰 🤑 she has been getting. She only doesn't like the ML because she thinks...she knows him and her sister ...because she has read the script.

I am baffled by the fact that SOO MANY PEOPLE IN THE COMMENTS don't understand the drama or satire 😒🙄 . The script was actually parodying the tragic cdramas we have seen. Omg! And because the scripy was cliché and mocking those tragedies, it was funny. Are these new cdrama fans??
Secondly, no! The script isn't the drama and it has been made very clear because neither the ML and nor the Sister's character follow the script we know. Their characters are slowly getting unfolded. The FL went in with preconceived notions...and while I understand the FL, I am failing to understand the viewers who just can't let go of the script they first saw (which was shown for satire purposes ). Jeez...move on from it. Not even the FL blamed the ML that much simply because of prejudice...what's wrong with these folks?
