Guys how is it truly? rating is almost 9 is it that GOOD?
Its really good...if you have watched many historical dramas and wuxia before. People who aren't familiar with longer cdramas may find some parts slow. Other than that, its a political drama with romance. Quite mature!

Its okay to call out toxic female characters (i have done that a lot myself) but this is less of a review and more of an open expression of personal bigoted ideas and misogyny.
Come on... why no kissing scenes? They could just have gotten some small kissing like couples do.. (like in ep.27…
I am reading the novel and there are sooo many s** scenes (some of them are very unnecessary)...the novel made me appreciate less physical intimacy in the drama. I do want them to be close and deliver some spice...but I can wait honestly. I have read had too much of explicit content in the novel...lol! Trust me, The drama is very different in a good way

The best way would have been to show a flashback ...of how she has been unfair to him and how she has manipulated the father. The 5 minute flashback would have solved the problem.
