I like him but I want to see him in a negative role. I feel like he's typecasted in "sweet guy" or "campus heart throb who loves one girl crazily" roles . So far, I have seen only one guy pull off very different roles (negative and positive) really really well and that's Liang Yong Qi. You have written it so well with great detail. I hope you can write one about characters who have played both negative and positive roles with great conviction
Its a biased list anyway. The best chinese actors are actually people like Tony Leung. This is a "my favorite pretty boy" list. But I agree, even in this list, Xu Kai would be number 1 because he is great in comedy, serious roles, romance, romantic comedy, action and everything in between
That is not a kind thing to say, though it's your opinion. She might not have done so many projects, but the little…
Its a comment. But since you asked, The acting is bland...there's no depth to it and all her characters feel the same even though they are quite different from the plot. There's only one expression that she is pretty good at and that's a blank expression or widening her eyes... Basically, her acting feels like its a rookie idol acting who is solely in the drama to bring traffic. But it ain't the truth. She is an "actor" with absolutely no range in expression, no understanding of the depth of character and not much creativity in bringing the character to light.
I think the directors know it too and that's why a multi starrer with multiple couples and leads works better for her.
A good example of character transformation that is coming to my mind right now is mio Imada.
Another one is a very young girl that played a voiceless girl in twinkling watermelon.
She can improve by doing supporting roles and taking acting classes but so far, I am pretty disappointed with her.
Seriously these so called 'heart flattering ' kdrama kisses ain't doing it for me anymore...even Cdrama kisses…
I mean, i don't mind the little contact...but cdramas do it better. I don't want them to turn into SOUL LESS HOLLYWOOD though where they stick bodies to each other but it gives me no romantic vibes at all

This is a criticism of her WORK and not her. There's a massive difference in criticism of people and a review of their work.
Well, all good actors also face incredible struggles..especially when they are rejected for leading roles because they don't have a certain type of a face or Refuse to ask their surgeon for it. Tbh, i can give her a chance in supporting roles but not main ones. Then, I see all the supporting actors I want to see in main roles...and I think...hm...maybe not! There's too many talented people whose ACTING SKILLS deserve a greater screen presence
I'm not trying to be that person but you haven't even seen any of her projects how can you have an opinion on…
Yup! How do you even add a hundred dramas? I am too lazy for that. Her performance in dramas have always been incredibly bland. At first, I thought it must be the the character but she is the same character everywhere ...
To me, Liang Yong Qi remains my top pick. His grey character in "the double" was soo darn good and he played a beautiful role in perfect match and ended up stealing the limelight there as well. He is seriously so talented as an actor. I say, give him a well written novel based love story
So insane that when I talked about the drama and his acting being below average and boring, people wouldn't believe me...and now 🙄 They are pointing it out!! I had written a whole review on how bland his acting was...and people defended the drama to death. Only sane reviwers kept the ratings low.
In cases like these, when there is evidence against him...THE PRESUMPTION IS ALSO AGAINST HIM. South korea's nasty obsession with youth, looks and "young childlike faces" has made men twisted. The age gap is sooo creepy. This is also a problem with some other asian countries who have adopted korean standards. However, its pretty obvious that he did not do anything illegal because korea had regressive laws then. So, he won't be going to jail.
LMAO! People are such hypocrites, one moment they are raving about him the next they're saying they were never…
I never hated on saeron but hating on a pedo... is natural and justifiable. Besides, i rated his acting in his recent drama as bad... and I totally hated the drama too but people kept raving about that mediocrity. It has so many bad reviews of people who actually watch good content
