I don't get fans in general. Why would you be a fan of a human? You can be a fan of characters and someone's work...but actors? That makes no sense. You don't even know them. Its parasocial creepy relationship

When dramas got dubbed in some countries with large populations, he got new fans, THOSE FANS THEN HIGHLY RATED HIS MEDIOCRE ACTING and you can see my review on "queen of tears"...Its mediocre acting at best and he mostly relied on the rest of the cast as well as PR HYPE to sustain his career. Interestingly, i always found his aura to be unsettling. After her demise, i noticed that there was something incredibly wrong with her image in Korean media...ALMOST LIKE IT WAS NEGATIVE PR fueled by someone. Like, she couldn't breathe without someone hunting her down. It was him!

I have watched 62 episodes (and multiple shows like that)...Loved the show but I still believed it could hage been masterfully made and restricted in 20 episodes with 1 hour per episode.
People complaining about Grandpa or second couples...Will be up in arms if I say CDRAMAS SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN 15-20 EPISODES. This is what happens when you have 32 episodes for a romance drama
I get what you are saying but as someone who also guves extreme ratings...I can tell you that MDL works like that. Its a FEELING BASED RATING The overall rating is more or less right. If you want a fuller picture, you gotta read the reviews

Its creepy in the real world when the girl acts like a 16 year old and the man is adult. She acted like she was 15 in romantic scenes and even the voice was not the usual Zhao Lusi voice. It was the baby voice which made it even more difficult to watch

I am talking about character flaws...which add to the drama and makes it better but Hidden love remains uncomfortable because of reasons so many people have explained. It was creepy to me. You can't force people to like it 🤷 whether you like this drama or not. Its none of my concern. You can dislike it and not watch it.
