Yaaaaassss!!! Well deserved

You know, they say that comedy is the hardest to do... but she seems effortless. There are times, i randomly laugh at night thinking about her shenanigans. Its been QUITE SOME TIME since i have seen a promising actress. She is definitely capable of acting out serious scenes as well. Her first cry in the drama was pretty natural as well..it was no extreme cry or anything.

I have to say this. THE ACTRESS IS INCREDIBLY TALENTED. There are times when her character was irritating but I absolutely loved her comedic timing. I hope she rises to the top ❣️❣️ she totally deserves it

Okay...let me be blind to that because instead of addressing the larger issue, it will be reduced to "he is all natural". Why are they pushing chinese actors into extreme thinness and being underweight ? They look like skeletons when they stand next to international celebrities and its funny that most of them had a reasonably healthy weight before.
Besides, why are they almost CLEANSING the industry off of monolids, tanned skin and flatter noses?

Everyone is beautiful in their own way...which is why instead of putting pressure on actors to become underweight and go under the knife, people should promote DIVERSITY OF FACIAL FEATURES. Asians can be denial till death but I am seeing a new epidemic of eurocentric features being heavily promoted and who is to blame for this? Certainly nit the actors...but the people who just can't accept diversity of color, body type and race and partially the PR who attack people for these genuine concerns that must be discussed for the good of public at large.
Besides, I am not fan material. On MDL, there are fans who assume that the person writing must either be a fan or an anti fan. I am neither...of anyone in this world.
But, i do realise that impact thag beauty standards have on young people

Apparently, people deny minor changes to facial features and pressure put on actors unless an official plastic surgeon just exposes it to save general public's mental health. I have seen him in his FIRST EVER DRAMA and what a gorgeous man he was (still is but pushed to exteme thinness)...even then but they did push him to an extreme too... its so incredibly heartbreaking. That's one of my fav actors and he appears sooo different here that I almost couldn't recognised him

Sweetheart, its okay to do things to the nose and other parts for him. Its not something to be ashamed of FOR HIM..and its not a big deal FOR HIM either...but its definitely a big deal for the audience who is seeing extremely unhealthy beauty standards being pushed on actors and young people in general. It has been going to the extreme for a while now...extreme thin ness...extreme eurocentric beauty standards. Its at a point where I feel like the chinese govt should intervene for the sake of public health.

I already told people...the AMERICAN DRAMA STYLE of mukti season is bad... there is a reason i haven't liked a single romance drama coming out of America. Their romance has no soul and they drag the seasons where the same ML or FL falls in love and f*** multiple people while still being in love with the endgame... or its your usual cringe which ends at airport.
But, they keep pushing for multiple seasons...I AM THRILLED TO SEE THE CHINESE TAKING OVER.

Its funny and depressing...because I was alarmed to see the ML , he looks incredibly different from his first drama and I can see the jaw reconstruction, the weight loss, other procedures...Honestly, i see a perfectly beautiful man hoing down the Zhao Lusi Road. They can stop dragging the FL down that road. She's absolutely alright and pretty. If anything, I feel like HE SHOULD STOP NOW because it completely threatens his health

As far as BJT is concerned, he is good in every role ...but this one, I wanted it to go to the original actor we loved first.

It takes a special type of a person to Photoshop this beautiful man's face in the cover...TO AN EXTENT THAT I COULDN'T RECOGNISE HIM. Seriously?

Edit : oh no! That's actually him 😳 last time I saw an actor changing her appearance at this rate, she ended up in a hospital. I don't want him to end up like that. WHO IS PRESSURISING THEM?

You should continue. The real romance starts when she is much older..spoiler alert...there is a gap.
Also, the drama isn't a romance drama...its more of a family/bromance drama.
Besides, 19 is the LEGAL AGE but you wouldn't see any real s***al conduct until...she is a middle aged woman.

Yeah...he is a different person and they should make another drama for the kind of character that Victor Ma played. I would pay for it without second thoughts.

Zhao lusi was never hated for her acting... she was tortured by her manager, threatened by her previous company and slapped.
PEOPLE LIKED HER FOR HER ACTING...she became popular but was still dealing with depression. Idk why you are trying to make it seem like CRITICISM OF THE PERSON IS THE SAME AS CRITICISM OF ACTING. Criticisn for acting is absolutely fair

What's with people hating on cnetz? They are always fair in their criticism when it comes to acting. Yes!they can be very harsh as far as beauty standards are considered but people shouldn't forget that Chinese netizens have access to some of the most critically acclaimed and quality chinese cinema out there. The criticism for acting should be taken in a positive way. Its because of that criticism that someone like BJT gets work and is appreciated more in a sea of flower boys.

I actually trust cnetz... i feel like chinese netizens are actually pretty fair when it comes to acting criticism. They have more exposure to the talented Chinese actors and content compared to international fans.

Even if it wasn't written for BJT, he would do justice to it. I have seen him in reset (which is my fav cdrama of all times) and I watched many projects of his in serious and non serious roles. I don't know of victor ma is anywhere near him as an actor because I have only seen him in 1 drama...but that character became one of my favorites. I had no idea that a novel existed for him as well but man, I wished they had a story for such an interesting person.
I am obviously gonna watch one of my favorite chinese actor but how I would have jumped if Victor Ma did it.

Who tf is hating? On who? BJT is somebody I watch blindly because of his previous work. How about you stop hating on people for FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION. Its a raw emotion for someone who has jist discovered the fact. I can't believe that people who watch romantic dramas don't have any concept of raw emotions being expressed

I am not a fan of people...I don't make fan accounts and why would I hate ANOTHER PERSON FOR NO REASON? Its the director's decision..every actor will grab work. Besides, I have seen all his work...and he was one of the best candidates.

I have no idea why he rejected the first frost...I WOULD HAVE PAID A LOT to see him as the male lead in the same character. But I am sure he must have had his reasons....Hoping to see him in a romantic drama.
