PEOPLE LIKED HER FOR HER ACTING...she became popular but was still dealing with depression. Idk why you are trying to make it seem like CRITICISM OF THE PERSON IS THE SAME AS CRITICISM OF ACTING. Criticisn for acting is absolutely fair

What's with people hating on cnetz? They are always fair in their criticism when it comes to acting. Yes!they can be very harsh as far as beauty standards are considered but people shouldn't forget that Chinese netizens have access to some of the most critically acclaimed and quality chinese cinema out there. The criticism for acting should be taken in a positive way. Its because of that criticism that someone like BJT gets work and is appreciated more in a sea of flower boys.

I actually trust cnetz... i feel like chinese netizens are actually pretty fair when it comes to acting criticism. They have more exposure to the talented Chinese actors and content compared to international fans.

Even if it wasn't written for BJT, he would do justice to it. I have seen him in reset (which is my fav cdrama of all times) and I watched many projects of his in serious and non serious roles. I don't know of victor ma is anywhere near him as an actor because I have only seen him in 1 drama...but that character became one of my favorites. I had no idea that a novel existed for him as well but man, I wished they had a story for such an interesting person.
I am obviously gonna watch one of my favorite chinese actor but how I would have jumped if Victor Ma did it.

Its a raw emotion for someone who has jist discovered the fact. I can't believe that people who watch romantic dramas don't have any concept of raw emotions being expressed

I am not a fan of people...I don't make fan accounts and why would I hate ANOTHER PERSON FOR NO REASON? Its the director's decision..every actor will grab work. Besides, I have seen all his work...and he was one of the best candidates.

I have no idea why he rejected the first frost...I WOULD HAVE PAID A LOT to see him as the male lead in the same character. But I am sure he must have had his reasons....Hoping to see him in a romantic drama.

He is a bloody good actor. He was sucha great fit for the role. The directors don't offer it to anyone. He must have had a solid reason to reject it...man, I dreamed of him being the lead. He was the only character I genuinely liked

Cruel intentions isn't the original. The other older English version was wayy better. Cruel intentions is one of the less liked versions and its the Modern version...Because the original was historical

If they deny doing explicit scenes,they shouldn't have accepted the role. They aren't short of work. I don't mind not showing full frontol nudity but it should be explicit and R rated. Its SUPPOSED TO BE VERY PROVOCATIVE because its basically all about sex and games. There's a thousand ways to do that without completely making the actors naked.

I hope they don't tone it down in that sense...even if they don't show nudity.

Yeah. Mature romances, flawed characters, realistic fights, adult dilemmas...is what makes a romance. The reason they liked it because people in many countries have just started to discover cdramas. This was dubbed in many langauges increasing the fan base...but those who have been watching dramas for years find it very forgettable except the brother's character. Besides, i hate dubbing in other languages because only Mandarin delivers the emotions properly.

Its bad. The plot is mostb likely bad and cringe but any sh** sells when the PR is this heavy. No wonder he wants to do more serious roles. Even he is sick of this.

Urrh!! This is why I gravitate more towards Japanese adaptations of movies like these. They give a lot of respect to the writers

Omg...its sooo bloody good. I am on ep 4. I must say, the female lead is such a good actress. I can't stop laughing at the butterfly scene 🤣🤣 Her comedic timing is pretty good
