If they deny doing explicit scenes,they shouldn't have accepted the role. They aren't short of work. I don't mind not showing full frontol nudity but it should be explicit and R rated. Its SUPPOSED TO BE VERY PROVOCATIVE because its basically all about sex and games. There's a thousand ways to do that without completely making the actors naked.
I hope they don't tone it down in that sense...even if they don't show nudity.

Yeah. Mature romances, flawed characters, realistic fights, adult dilemmas...is what makes a romance. The reason they liked it because people in many countries have just started to discover cdramas. This was dubbed in many langauges increasing the fan base...but those who have been watching dramas for years find it very forgettable except the brother's character. Besides, i hate dubbing in other languages because only Mandarin delivers the emotions properly.

I agree to the fact that Japanese actors are amazing. I also agree that kdrama industry products are mid but the actors are pretty good. Its just that Mainstream dramas are supposed to be like this. The non mainstream korean cinema is good (but definitely not as good as the japanese). Hollywood has gone to the dogs in my opinion. The chinese mass produce a lot of content in EVERY GENRE but its not accessible out of china easily. A lot of it is good and a lot of it is bad. Korea is basically an ally of Big Brother...so politics plays a huge role in who GETS MORE EXPOSURE. Koreans are getting benefitted because of that. Otherwise, i get your point. As a lover of cinema, I do love the high quality content but this is my everyday guilty pleasure. Mainstream content is for escapism

I think BLAMING MDL for having democratic views compared to the twitter and youtube spamming (where its easier to bully people and threaten them) is seriously going too far. Its a safe space for people who are drama lovers and are more into content than people. Disagreements with people is fine but ...the platform is such a breath of fresh air because the bots cannot completely take over opinions here. I personally hope that never changes
