So what? Its a romantic comedy. She addresses that and she didn't fall in love with her boss but with the person behind that designation. The sole purpose of it is to entertain. By that standard, 99% of kdramas are stupid. I wouldn't get into kdramas in the first place if I was that judgemental. As a lover of cinema, I have always loved realistic and amazingly creative cinema. There's only 2-3 korean directors and writers capable of creating that kind of masterpieces. Do we watch kdramas for that? Nope! If its entertaining, watch it. Otherwise, there's heartwrenching reality in the form of cinema waiting in my watchlist.
And wtf is a red flag?He had his reasons that were strictly professional and she had hers. She didn't have a specialisation. Who are we to judge human beings for their flaws and fully adult women for their consensual and well informed decisions? You don't like her decisions...DON'T WATCH IT. Besides, layoffs are a common reality on this world.

I loved it. This was perfect. Finished it and ENJOYED IT.

It actually started a while back...as much as I love flawed and realistically toxic characters, I am not for turning women into 2000s toxic male leads. Women just don't function like that...and if you wanna show a toxic female, don't glorify her behavior. Even 2000s male leads were called "trash" for acting like that. What happened to caring for yoir partner and going above and beyond in the name of love. Besides, grooming is JUST NOT OKAY. However, I remember that she rejected him when he was young..solely because of his age so I can't call her a groomer. When he grew up, he made an informed choice

Zhao jin mai?? Ya'll kidding? She's one of the most popular young actresses. Also the TFF actress ...why? She had like 3 expressions but even then she is quite popular because of which she can never fall in the "underrated" category according to me. I mean she might just be one of the most popular actress in cdrama in 2025 furst quater because of tff. ❣️Jelly lin❣️ along with liang yong qi deserves the top spot for me because of her amazing comic timing and really expressive face. I couldn't finish the drama but her acting impressed me soo much

Yup...shows the true originality and creativity of chinese entertainment industry from set designs, folk music to costumes and acting. Nothing compares to xianxia especially.

No...Its mythological Fantasy. It isn't historical per say. Its definitely one of my favs of all time

Anime is ALWAYS SUPERIOR to any kdramas in general.

The thing is, these days, its a trend in asian dramas to TREAT MEN LIKE DOORMATS. You will see this in some of highly rated dramas as well. You feel soo bad for them. They are mistreated.

Modern dramas are never as good as the fantasy ones. Its just that international audience has not been properly introduced to xianxias yet.

Dream pairing ❣️❣️ Dear writer, keep the pacing right for the love of God. I always prefer Chinese Xianxia over korean fantasy but this pairing is such an exception for me. Goblin is also one of my all time favs. I hope the writer pleasantly surprises me
