Most C-dramas, probably because of the dictatorial Chinese government, are all very similar you think the woman is going to be a badass, but in the end she just becomes a housewife and gets saved by the male lead multiple times.

Because this cooking story isn't interesting, I wanted to see her getting revenge on her brother. And other bandits.

In fact, all Cdramas are the same: the Chinese government won't let artists make something like Korean weak hero or tarantino's bride.

I watched this one and thought it was better, especially the parallel plots, supporting characters, I forgot the word now, the stories that aren't the main ones.

Have you noticed that what you have most are uninteresting plots rather than her actually being a general? Maybe that answers your question.

This scene of the person cooking (even though she doesn't know how to do it) only serves as slapstick comedy, repeated to exhaustion and without any humor.

I am the consumer, it has to please me, and this plot is boring.

It may not be illogical, but it's boring. We want women kicking ass, not cooking for men.

What I want: A woman kicking ass.

What I have: A woman cooking, making empty speeches, and sewing.

It would be cool to have a BL with fae, too bad it's more of a Western trend

A BL mafia series would be perfect.

Every cloud has a silver lining. If it failed in terms of views and engagement, companies would think we only want to see cheap BLs with no investment.

I hope this BL series is good, but those who have read the novel say there is little romance in it. I want to see how it turns out.

Unfortunately, this series was a disappointment. I think everyone was expecting more because of the budget and the delay in finishing filming.

BL fans are very childish and spoiled, absolutely no one is obliged to like BL, the omegaverse or ABO desire. They invented(bls fans) the word hater and haven't let it go since, liking or disliking something is personal.
