Apart from all the actors and actresses, the screenwriter is the real MVP, if you ask me. Most historical chinese dramas have slow pacing and rely on filler plots to stretch the episode count but FH is different.
The screenwriter clearly put a great deal of effort into the story and some elements feel truly refreshing, things we don’t often see in political costume dramas.

Ofc, credit also goes to the director who brought everything together with excellent storytelling. The costume design is very well done too.
I’m glad that CZY had the opportunity to work with such a good production team. LQ is beautiful and elegant and she convincingly portrays the female general role.
