i guess JiangLi fans are not gonna be the only problem of this series but categorising it like that seems pretty harsh. Plus, 7.9 is pretty good rating, esp. considering the shortcomings of this series. So I do understand the dissapointment at the same time i do get the raters, at the same time considering the beefs w/ other groups I am surprised it still isn't lower. Bear in mind, the difference between 7.8 a nd 8.2 is mostly only matter of taste.

Sig... Sigh... It did not start bad at all. It was very promising. And I never realized it has only 6 episodes. It's pity because of all of the restrictions, but I guess this is not the only thing that people are criticizing. One of them would be the choice for such obviously highly production quality series to have such kisses. And to skip through getting a relationship from A to Z without any sort of... Or more like it's very unsatisfying to basically cut it to make them boyfriends or to make them couples. Which is the worst transgression here, I guess, if you forgive the kisses. I guess many people might have problem with what we reveal about the main character. And how problematic these type of topics are and how they are being treated and approached. That's like another problematic part for which I believe this has only that rating that it has (6.9 currently). I would say it's not for kids or teenagers series. It's more for adult people who are able to do retrospective and introspective about certain things in series. But still, it's completely underdeveloped in terms of space. It shouldn't have ever have 6 episodes. Another problem here is, as someone else mentioned below me, squeezing 4 couples in Thailand series in the regular length is stretch. If you want to do it properly (and most of them can't do it properly). If you want to squeeze so many couples, main leads or main couples into the 6 episodes when every one of them has like 20 minutes, it's just laughable to think about. Maybe if you have done it 4 series, which would mean for each couple there would be their separate version of that story, you would have made it way more digestible for people. But you didn't do that. You decided to keep the couples. All of them were charming. All of the characters were charming in its own way. Obviously, the main couple was very much rushed. But it was like really... If you don't take it as a main series you are watching currently, but a supplementary series for other series, then I guess you might not be disappointed until or unless you get to the last episode or episode 5-6 to realize how much they just squeezed in so short time. And the whole freaking 5-4 episodes were just dragging and postponing the moments that people in BL series are waiting for. The first kisses, the first touches, the first explanations. And did nothing fo 4 eps and they were just flowing like a river. But it's very unproportional for us to get this much in such a short length. And all of a sudden, miraculously, you can do it while you couldn't for the previous 4 episodes. So I guess people are annoyed, but I still feel somehow this is a higher quality series and it's undeserved to have 6.9 rating. While other series that are much worse and have just the benefit of having only 2 characters the whole period of time, still having 6 episodes and being it only about them, worse production quality, worse everything, worse storytelling, worse background stories about the characters and they get way higher rating. I hope it goes up, but I am not expecting it as much. But really, unless you know the original versions of these, it just shows that it has some years passed. This one is way more watchable in terms of visuals. And the characters, their personalities, they are nice, they are cute, they likable, they are... I would say they are really ideal for the story. Maybe if you left out the kisses altogether, you would still do better for the series. But as it is... Okay. And so... Don't be off-putted by the rating. I would not say it's a bad, bad series. It's just dealing with bad cards.

I agree on both, what a solves HY in my eyes is he strikes me as being on spectrum of not being able to feel emotions the regular way. Most of them being flat and unrecognisable to him. It was showed to us multiple times.
