I am thinking hard about the Not critical part and I can speak only for myself in Joong’s case I feel like he is doing here several things and if anything saves his character it is actually his acting. I feel he tried to adjust to Dunk’s character. so he is dousing his acting to minimu and he is not trying hard to shine above how the character was written for the show. it is still obvious in his case he has a much more to give despite not giving his full efforts in this character or he is trying too much to shape himself into the characters and story’s needs and that is spending all of his energy so he doesn't have any for the real acting. but all the time I feel like his character is way more flat than its supposed to be here too.And many scenes, moments are chosen and timed strangely

Let's not confuse here 2 things - switching is perfect, my personal preference is to switch normally, and rotate, and what not - but only if u have two actors who can pull it. Sadly, Dunk cannot and it just shows.
Out of 2 trained people who could pull out of 2 rellativelly deep acting ponds they made two shallow acting models.

It is not to say there were not better moments for Dunk and that they souldnt try and experiment with this - the point is you need to look not only about some different sides but you need to consider overall picture.

But have you seen that record? It was about the WAY he told it - maybe the record was not full, but the way he told that CLEARLY TOLD he is just explaining things to outsider, so he searched in age and gender appropriate vocabularies that would draw accurate parallels and similarities that would outsider understand, but even if that speach was lead with another BL actor, there was really nothing bad or controversial in it. He just told, how it is, bcs he is not one of the readers - him personally. Which is fine, very rarely actors recruit from readers. And it is honorable but not necessary for them to read the original work. ... (the rant is going on even if i dont continue w it here...)

Moment, not to confuse anyone - yes for bossnoeul chemistry and lita first part is a perfect study how from heavily story based societies and stories we moved and shrinked that aspects of visual storytelling only to relationships and chemistries. I consider LITA a perfct study case for that, i just dont read it as a story. And despite ppl didn't like bossnoeul's next project i consider that amazing storytelling. So in whatever LITA first part was or was not, whatever they did or did not do there, i personally LOVED IT.It is just that... yes, you are correct, i am right - it was not a story (but lovely cuddly piece of confort zone, which is fine too).
