In response, he issued a public apology and took a temporary hiatus from the entertainment industry. He later returned, participating in the KinnPorsche World Tour 2022, but then even worse drop came, because 10b) Writer Poi (1/2 of writers of KP, that Poi) came out with being Build's ex-girlfriend (cca January 2023), and accused Build of: a) Physical abuse b) Extortion (demanding expensive gifts, money, even a condo and BMW) c) Cheating d) Plagiarism—claiming Build used her story idea for an upcoming project titled 4 Minutes And overall they supposedly slept tgt so Buid got his role that was and she supposedly insisted on Build to portray Vegas, because the character was written based on Build IRL, but the director (?) insisted so Build was Pete in the end. And then: 11) Build was suspended indefinitely by his agency, Be On Cloud. 12) He was removed from the KinnPorsche world tour and lost brand endorsements. 13) He deleted all his social media accounts. 14) It was unclear but nearly sure he will not be in 4Minutes project (and he wasn't). This time the hiatus was even longer until he told public he will go with this to court (who wouldn't in his situation?). And she was enough... insane? ... to start publicly sending photos (was it really stolen from her after all the texts she posted publicly too? i doubt it) of supposed domestic abuse caused by Build from their time tgt. Oh, and based on her version he wanted from and slept with her for money if i remember correctly.

What is so cool about it is the possibilities it brings, not the actions themselves. I as well believe you and Gao Tu are on opposite spectrums – you have to take the medications to survive, he is hurting himself with taking medication. What is his redeeming quality maybe even in your eyes is – and I don’t know if it is from the novel or not, but in the drama the mother = trust person told him to take the pills to pretend to be Beta in the subtext of “this is gonna protect you.” So it is like a switch. He is not hurting himself in his mind, he is surviving as his mother helped and told him to do. So he has a doctor who told him not to, a mother who told him to do so, and now he has his personal reason to do so – hide, because his love interest hates Omegas too. He might now understand it is not 100% ok, he is an adult and all (is that a miraculous power too, to not be an idiot? I don’t think so), but he has his hooks and gates in his mind that null those saying not to do this.
And the soft spot – I believe I referred to the actor, and it is because I have heard – just like Jimmy from Mandee (Thailand) – he is/was suffering depression, taking meds himself. So… I have a soft spot for him. But he is obviously a good actor too. As for Gao Tu? Ok, yes, I can relate and do understand him. And I understand you too and your reasons. Just to note – I don’t have a soft spot for a person intentionally long-term harming himself, but I do have an understanding for that.
Shen probably also doesn’t expect something like this – I do not nor was I ever expecting him to realize on his own anything, strangely. I see people do it here, but I just wasn’t. That is why I love this, because I as well as the story expect and want to explore all the way down “AFTER” – I lost you, what a fool I was, I am so terribly sorry, what can I do now about it, how can I bring heaven to your feet to bring you back to me. The how will he behave once he finds out. I would love to see a visceral reaction I know I will not see from the actor. But really, I just want to explore the phase after and the road back home.
You have touched on an interesting point actually. I think the over involvement of the original author often leads…
to expand - if you have worlds in your head, you are invested there, and so everything in reality tends to be smaller and you have to try extra hard to do it as you imagine. Hence the problem - it will never be as you imagine exactly, you cant have a control over people out of your head and strict adherance a) stopry creativity, b) does not guarantee betteer result always, c) neglect creativity of people on set - incl. directors and actors, who might see something i might have missed as an individual.
But robotic lines should be combination of all or some parts: practicing, acting skills level, bad directing (poor SWL), not prepared with acting/intimacy coach correctly, something does not make sense - body language, lines, logic, way of shooting... just something is off. and then insisting on it or not catching it at time.
