What I'm going to say is something I think I haven't mentioned myself in any of my social media before: even before their divorce, she was seen to not publicly wear her wedding ring. I understand it's their own choice whether to wear their rings or not, but they were known as a couple who always wore their rings after marriage, surely her not wedding rings will cause speculation. I'm mentioning this because her not wearing rings might be a clue that she has an idea about her marriage failing already. Point is we don't know what happened for sure so bashers and haters of him should stop coming here!!!

He has an upcoming romantic drama with Jeon Yeo Been coming April though I'm still waiting for reviews before I watch it.

I love Namgoong Min from My Dearest and I'm pretty sure he'll nail this role but I feel like I need to wait for reviews before I watch this. The leads names being together screams Park Jae Bum office/law/accounting drama comedy (though I've only watched Vincenzo among Park's comedy dramas and only seen Good Manager via clips).

I think Kim Yoon Woo and Lee Chung Ah should be credited as main roles

My Dearest reunion with Ahn Eun Jin and Kim Mu Jun!! They also added Woo Davi (Jooran from Jeongnyeon)! I’m watching for them! Haven’t seen the male lead in anything but I heard not so good things about his acting from 2021’s Now We Are Breaking Up (which was why I didn’t plan to watch this new 2025 drama at first) but I hope either my thoughts about him are wrong or his acting has improved!

To those that do not understand Deok-Im or call her annoying:
Female lead is not annoying at all, the way she expresses her love is through her actions. Didn't she save him so many times? She was even helpful in proving the old king that male lead is the one who should be the next king by helping him (old king) find the secret document he wrote which proves he wants male lead to be the next king! It's just that she doesn't want to be a concubine because there's a lot of restrictions (there's a lot of restrictions on being a palace maid too, but at least she can be allowed to enjoy some time outside the palace with her friends) and she doesn't want to share her husband. For her, it meant losing her identity and losing her sense of self (because by being a concubine, she belongs to the king but king doesn't belong to her as he has a wife and other concubines she needs to share him with), this is why she chose to not confess her love to him, as this thing is the only thing she can keep to herself. If anything, the biggest proof of her love is that she still chose to be his concubine in the end even if it made her really lonely. She also didn't hate him despite the fact that he punished one of her closest friends. And she waited for him in the next life even though she said he should just pass her by. I hope people understand that a woman sacrificing her sense of self and happiness to make someone happy is also love!
Lee Se Young is a great actress and is just as good as Lee Jun Ho! I will not allow any Deok Im or Lee Se Young acting slander!!

This is based in real life, the historical Deok Im really did reject the historical Yisan/King Jeongjo many times before she accepted him.

I don't think the drama ever mentioned that he got married after enthronement. As the drama never mentioned when exactly he got married, it's safe to assume they followed history. It just wouldn't make sense even in this drama if a young crown prince who's position is not secure is not married yet.

Please continue. I won't tell you the ending, but I'll say that she still loves the male lead and will reunite in the second season. She didn't marry the officer because she loves him, but because she can't just simply leave her family to get shame if she ran away with the male lead. Remember, she was already engaged to the officer when she found out male lead was still alive, fleeing an engagement will harm not only the woman but also her family.

Kwon Sang Woo's (male lead in this film) film by the same director as this film, Hitman 2 (https://kisskh.at/753831-hitman-2), has just been released a few days ago. Hope this means that they can release this movie soon.

You're not from Korea and Korea remembers this love story because the female lead died. The ending is very wonderfully made, you feel that the couple are together but it still respects the real historical fact that she died young.

I saw a tweet that this is the modern version of Jane Austen's Persuasion and I can't help but agree!
