Her career is over. She didn't get any drama or movie offer since 2023
Her short omnibus film was released 2025 and her movie with Kwon Sang Woo was released 2026, but I’m so annoyed they are not iffering her high quality projects and dramas
I feel the same. OG actors are being phased out for traffic stars and storylines that no longer hold my attention…
not just Flower of Evil, I also especially miss the non Kpop feels sageuks like Queen Seon Deok, Empress Ki, Jewel in the Palace, and even Moon Chae Won’s sageuks Princess Man and Painter of the Wind. Netflix and Disney+ and major streaming preferences for Kpop and trendy actors are so annoying, my faves like Moon Chae Won and Ha Ji Won and sageuk dramas and even Flower of Evil like dramas are disappearing
I feel so bored in following Kdramas ever since late last year because Moon Chae Won never get projects. I hate streaming giants and their priory of big Kpop and trendy actors so much
I miss the Kdrama landscape of 2011 and before where melodrama and sageuk reigns the screen
why do you dislike Moon Chae Won just even if she acted well?? Just because she’ss not as popular as Joon Gi…
The more i’m puzzled why you dislike her as you mentioned you enjoyed her acting. i mentioned joongi because it’s less popular to hate him because he’s more popular and hallyu.. Moon Chae Won did nothing yet so many people are hating her even if they admit she acts well, which is why your comment is so annoying.
Definitely overrated. It was really predictable and had so many incoherent parts that I would've honestly dropped…
why do you dislike Moon Chae Won just even if she acted well?? Just because she’ss not as popular as Joon Gi doesn’t mean you can just dislike her. Her encouragement was a big factor in Joon Gi accepting this drama, he even said it in their interviews.
Fantasy dramas like Alchemy of Souls should not be included. Obviously, newer post 2016 AND ESPECIALLY post pandemic sageuks will rank higher (they are missing a lot of masterpieces from the 2000s and early 2010s) due to greater exposure. With these newer sageuks, Red Sleeve AND My Dearest should top everything else made after 2016.
- you can watch this video, documentary on the historicity of the lead characters, made around the time the drama was showing.
