I really dislike that most of my faves are underrated and rarely get their dramas put on netflix. I wish this was on Netflix for Sohyun’s sake.

For me Sohyun is just as equal or even higher than PBG level, she’s been recognized as a great actress since childhood. She had to fo lots of supporting roles because she was still a kid. Both of them have 1 Baeksang nomination each.

Moon Chae Won was amazing in this drama, same as Lee Joon Gi. This might not be as popular as Moon Lovers but this is Lee Joon Gi's best drama and his best pairing.

this drama had lots of shippers too, i saw on twitter before queen of tears, the shippers of this drama fight against the shippers of ksh+iu. these drama's shippers also bashed kjw by the way

An 8 rating doesn't mean anything, lots of high quality dramas from the 2000s have low rating here, lots of highly rated dramas here are popular/hyped internationally. i think his latest drama is a daily drama (hence large number of episodes), not usually hyped by international fans hence the rating.

you shoulf watch river, it’s such a good role for her a badass princess, she and male lead have great chemistry despite having so little time to prepare (male lead wasn’t the original, he was the replacement for the scandalous original male lead).

This is not the pedo’s page. yoy better check the names and the pictures of the actors/actresses first before you criticized. that pedo is so annoying, actress kim SO hyun herself acted so much better in moon embracing the sun even if he was the main lead.

I read somewhere that this drama is the main male actor’s lead centric drama since his airing drama with the kpop idol, he’s not the center. it made me annoyed since I’m only watching for her (KSH). I hope she has significant impact in the role.

I think the same, as a long time sageuk fan, this is so mediocre compared to the many excellent sageuks. Lots of older and better sageuks not being watched by people. This was popular because lots of idol actors are in it. I watched this for Lee Joon Gi. You can try watching Time Between Dog and Wolf for Lee Joon Gi. It’s from 2007, but it’s a well written show and he and the other male lead acts well in it.

they already had 18 episodes filmed out of 20 when the scandal erupted. they were about to air episode 7 then. from what i remember, drama wasn’t aired for a week as they scrambled to find a new male lead. they only refilmed scenes that has male lead in it, na in woo (replacement) had filmed many scenes in a day as possible so that they can air the next episode by the next week. after he finished filming the last episode, he then filmed the first few episodes already aired with the previous actor so that ott content and future releases will show him as the male lead for the whole show. granted, rest of the cast, especially actress kim SO hyun agreed to not take pay for the refilming so as to save budget and hence the drama.

I pity the supporting actors who maybe looking forward for this drama as their debut.

please don't avoid kdramas. a lot of good actors and actresses are not problematic at all (both popular and underrated). in my case so far, none of the actors i like have been involved in a scandal worst than drugs (which for me shouldn't be criminalized as it only harms the self) or getting a divorce (which the person wouldn't have gotten twice the hate if the ex is not super popular).
