Check her out in The Princess Man, it's another amazing performance from her. Drama picks up pace at episode 8 or 9 (out of 24 episodes) but the early episodes will help you understand the premise of the story.

I do agree with you that Moon Chae Won is an extremely good actress and her acting here is oscar worthy.

Do you mean by "over the top" like you're praising her acting, or you're saying she's OTT with her acting and expressions? If it's the latter, I strongly disagree because all the acting and the emotions she showed in this show are just about right.

I like this show but I'm tired of the stepmother harassing Adelina. I really want the Japanese attack to start already to move the plot and make things more exciting (also to see more Dennis Trillo, who I'm just realising is an extremely versatile and talented actor).

every episode is only 30 minutes so it's actually only 50+ episodes. The Netflix version has 50+ episodes only

The second female lead is actually married to the third male lead, not the second male lead since the second male lead is the best friend of the two other male leads who became evil and is the rival of the first male lead for female lead's affections. Yes, the third male lead did die but not before he was able to write names he wants for either a male or female child.

Idk. I know he filmed this before the pandemic because he was literally in Colombia (where Bogota is) when the lockdowns happened.

the thing is the other dramas are not about divorce lawyers, maybe there might be a different perspective about how the character handles her husband cheating since her professional work is about divorce, which has cheating as one of the many causes.
I'm tired of the tropes as well but I' m watching this for Nam Ji Hyun and Jang Nara, I'll say the show only has 2 episodes released, I'm gonna give it another chance.

I think since this is a drama of divorce lawyers, they’re adding the cheating husband plot to see how a woman’s personal life could affect her job that has something to do with divorce.

I'm checking out for Nam Ji Hyun and I also liked Jang Nara from a Chinese drama I watched many years ago. I'm not into law dramas, but hope this one will somehow have fresh stories. I'm sure the acting will be good.
