Imperfect drama with flaws (like I don't get why Eun Gi was angry with Maru after she regains her memory when she already knew he tricked her even before the accident). But the acting and the soundtrack is super solid. I like Lee Kwang Soo and Lee Yoo Bi, but their scenes in the drama felt very disjointed from the rest of the plot, I have to skip their scenes if they're not with the main characters.
Yeah it’s so annoying. And it’s really weird that she’s not getting a lot of offers because the Koreans like her acting in Flower of Evil. Lots of actors and actresses that are from either less successful dramas or worse acting skills are getting offers, why not her?
Kim Ji Won hasn't had a sageuk female lead character where she played the character from the beginning to the end (except her movie), I think she'll be a good fit here, I want her to try sageuk again where she can finish playing the role. The writer of the webnovel this drama is based on and the writer of the webnovel the drama Love in the Moonlight is based on is the same person. Ji Won was offered to be the female lead in Love in the Moonlight but she declined. I also realized both she and Ahn Bo Hyun were both in DOTS.
the male character is the younger version of King Munjong (King during the first episodes in The Princess's Man who died of sickness and who was the father of the second female lead and her younger brother from the show). namu wiki of the webnovel: https://namu.wiki/w/해시의%20신루 namu wiki of the characters of the webnovel (it also mentioned which historical characters the leads are based on): https://namu.wiki/w/해시의%20신루/등장인물 * please copy all the hangul letters including the ones at the end when trying the links I gave.
I went to Korean websites, and there were some bad rumors about her being spread, maybe that's a reason she's not getting offers. But I don't believe it, she and her agency announced they were talking legal action about them last year: https://www.soompi.com/article/1572544wpp/moon-chae-wons-agency-to-take-legal-action-against-malicious-rumors . I just hope a release date of her movie is confirmed this year, maybe she's waiting for it too. But I don't know why the movie is not yet released, it was filmed way back 2021
Er ... does that mean that The Pulitzer Prize is only given to articles that have appeared in one of Joseph Pulitzer's…
Yeah, it doesn't work that way (awarding shows exclusively from your own TV stations only) in the Western World but it works that way in Kdrama awards, it's simple to understand. Maybe because I've been a kdrama fan long before the age of streaming so station awards shows just always been a thing. I think less people appreciate them know because many popular kdramas now are not aired by the three big stations of Korea unlike before where almost all kdramas came from the 3 big stations. The way I understand it, it's like Baeksang in a way. Just like how Baeksang does not give awards to Hollywood actors (they give awards to productions specifically from Korea), station award shows are also specific (they give award shows only to shows from their own stations)
I really don't understand , they are giving awards to their own series .It should not be consider awards ,but…
it may look that way because there are so many kdramas that are not aired in public stations anymore, but back in the day, it's a way to acknowledge good performances that may or may not be included in Baeksang or the few award shows that existed back then.

Station Awards in Korea have been there for decades (long before hallyu started and long before the age of streaming) and they always award shows that aired in their stations ONLY. It's only 100% safe to assume that these rules apply and not the rules of pulitzer or whatever.
Definitely! It's been so long since she got an award, it's so unfortunate circumstances prevented her from attending this one. It's so hard to be her fan
I accidentally stumbled upon what happened while searching for cgi moments. It’s outrageous to do something…
most of the main actors (i mean the main leads) are not even on the scene where the horse accident happened? i'm sure some of them didn't know what happened until the news appeared? in fact i don't even recall what episode was the one that consisted with the horse getting an accident behind the scenes. do you think the rest of the cast deserve the cancellation? it's only easy for you to say because this is not your favorite show? this is not included in my top sageuks either though i think this show storywise (of course not the horse treatment) is good.
Lets open our show from the end, where the Queen is already dead. I don't have the courage to sit through a 61HRs…
it's a historical show and the original audience are koreans. they would for surely know about these people and their history. why do people still watch the tudors if they know anne boleyn will be beheaded?

the actors have nothing to do with the horse issue so why should they suffer the consequences? do you want the same thing to happen to your favorite show if something really bad happened to its production (where none of the main actors had anything to do)?
i bet if this is some popular hallyu show or starred big name popular actors there will be less haters for the horse related issue. i don't like animal abuse as well, but i think only the ones responsible for the horse's death should be punished. mishaps happen all the time in kdramas. i'm sure the bashers don't even watch long sageuk dramas like this. reposting my old comment: "i don't condone animal abuse, but i notice it was easier to hate on this drama because of that issue because none of the actors are super popular? Bet if a more popular actor happens to be here, more fans will defend this. those responsible for the animal abuse should be reprimanded/punished (can't think of a word lighter than punishment but harder than reprimand) but cancelling this show is too much. this is just my opinion"
