The guy who sings really has a good voice. He really adds well to this drama. Kind of reminds me of the guy who sings in Six Flying Dragons (DdangSe/Byun Yo Han character)

a female lead I can think of similar to Seryung is Cha Ji Won from Flower of Evil and its interesting Moon Chae Won played both of them.

just some corrections, "Joong Ki" is Song's first name. I think you're referring to Lee when you're mentioning "Joong Ki", Lee's first name is actually "Joon Gi" or "Jun Ki". Song's first name is "중기" while Lee's first name is "준기". Emphasis on the "ㅇ" or ng sound as the difference of their names.

it's a bit more serious but there are fun moments as well. strongly recommended, it's one of my favorite dramas ever. however, it's very long, 60 something episodes, but for me it's worth it. aside from strong females. there's a very interesting and important complex male character though he doesn't appear till episode 21. it's quite old, but not much older than this one. this one was released in 2010, queen seon deok was 2009.

gosh i'd rather the old 20-30 episode kdrama. for 15-20 years, kdrama was like that.

i love her movie last princess, hope she comes back in a challenging role in a movie, preferable historical.

she is taking her time and focusing on her family first, if she feels it and she read a script that's interesting, she'll come back. she's still interested in acting but she's not rushing to come back. weird comment.

so what, it's very common nowadays. i've watched a lot of british movies recently and mos british actors have children before getting married. if brits can have babies before marriage, there's no reason why koreans shouldn't be allowed to if they want it. very weird comment.

great mindset. i think people shouldn't bother with the personal lives of celebrities. be happy for them if they have good news, sad for them if they have bad news, but we shouldn't judge them for how they live their life.

season 2? why couldn't they finish everything in one season? i'd rather that than dividing a drama to different seasons.

Queen Seon Deok has an intellectual female lead and an intellectual female villain. Of course in the earlier episodes her character needs to develop first, but once you reached almost the middle of the drama, you'll enjoy their debates and conversations

please watch Painter of the Wind, there's also a crossdressing girl there and her dynamic with the female gisaeng there is more obviously romantic

I'm sad for Yoo Ah In's case but I think it's too rude for blaming Shin Se Kyung for other actors' downfall. She did nothing wrong
