What did she do right? She was extremely childish, egoistic, kept running around endangering everyone around her…
she's young and she's a carefree young woman. sure she had some education, but she's very sheltered at the same time, so she's not exactly aware of all political happenings around her at the first few episodes especially since she wasn't present in many political scenes (when ministers and king are meeting). remember, this is the historical period, so it should be forgiven she's not super aware of what's happening. she gets mature once she becomes aware though. plus the trigger for decision to cut her ties with her father was when the father put the young former king in exile, this shows she had been more aware of what's happening when she matured.
This woman was in all the classics, Look how Mature and adult like she is in Alchemy of Souls, wow she is still…
she was quite popular in the 2000s. I I remember seeing a fanmade video that time and she was included in the creator's fave actresses. She also had a movie with the second guy in Meteor Garden, I might check it out for her.
I am about to re watch and I know it is gonna frustrate me, it has been too long, but the story is good and the…
it was entertaining but part of the reason i can't give it a 9.5 is I just finished rewatching another Chae Won drama (The Princess Man, 2011), older than this show but which was a masterpiece in storytelling compared to this one. not gonna deny this was entertaining though and this show's advantage is that it has song joong ki, one of Korea's best actors.
Why is this rated 7.8? Is it that boring? This has been in my list.
this feels like an old kdrama, so the kdrama audience who were not kdrama fans in the 2000s might not like it. I like the grandma very much, having watched both Under the Queen's Umbrella and Reborn Rich (both good shows), it's nice to see a very genuinely nice grandma who cares for her family more than her ambitions
I actually predicted that they will feature 9/11 in this drama since they were featuring real life events (since 2521 featured real life events too). What a coincidence that since some episodes in the past weeks were postponed , they showed episode 9-11 in the same weekend were the 9/11 attacks are shown in an episode.
not sure. but what I really want is for Chae Won to have an equally important part in the drama as Lee Sun Kyun, but it doesn't seem like it based on the posters and stills released. Hope the poster above isn't final.
You can also check out Arthdal Chronicles, the male lead actor is the same as this one. He is also in the first…
you may want to check out Flower of Evil (starring the different actor who will do Arthdal season 2) first, it's easier to get into, and then check Arthdal Chronicles (SJK drama) after, then you can wait for a few months til 2023 when season 2 airs. An additional trivia about Flower of Evil is that the female lead worked with SJK in his first drama where he is the main lead, The Innocent Man from 2012 (makjang melodrama, there are some plotholes but the acting of the 3 leads are really great). I also suggest historical dramas if you want to search for more kdramas. For me: Queen Seon Deok, Six Flying Dragons, Jumong, Tree with Deep Roots, Painter of the Wind, Princess Man, and Hwang Jini are really great historical dramas. Most of them are older than 10 years though, might not suit your taste. If you want a newer historical drama, you can try Red Sleeve and the recently concluded Under the Queen's Umbrella.
