The cousin's husband thing was the least of our worries however the incest was worse. That damned sister wanted…
the sister marrying the half brother is based on historical facts. this drama was adapted from a chinese drama about a woman migrating to the past except the fact that the past they used was of the children of the first goryeo king.
does yi bang won and his wife hate each other in this drama?
hate themselves or hate each other? if you mean the latter, they really loved each other. especially in the earlier episodes wife was really supportive of bang won and bang won comforted his wife upon their son's death. in the latter episodes they had some conflicts with each other because the wife wants to be more politically invloved but they were in good terms in the last few episodes.
if this is an older kdrama, sooyeon would have been male and would have been youngwoo one sided lover and minwoo would have been female (seeing youngwoo as competition).
after finishing this drama I was searching for more and more dramas of lee joon Gi. I have watched Again my life…
I think Time Between Dog and Wolf is the one you should watch. It's an older drama and though he acts well in all his shows, this was for me his second best acted drama after Flower of Evil.
Though 6 Flying Dragons remain superior, this drama shows something that 6 Flying Dragons didn't. There was more time here shown on how Bang Won was as a king. In particular this drama shows his conflicts with his wife when he was King as well as how the Crown Prince Position went from Prince Yangnyeong to Prince Chungnyeong aka King Sejong. I really like the two actors playing the two young princes, especially Lee Tae Ri as Prince Yangnyeong.
Let me add after finishing all 24 episodes, Han Seok Kyu gave an Oscar worthy performance! The man can ACT.
you should watch him in Tree with Deep Roots. He was so fantastic there also as the king. His younger version Song Joong Ki was already great, but he even topped that performance. Han Suk Kyu for me should have won Baeksang best actor in 2012, I really felt he was robbed of that award. this drama is also on my list to watch, can't believe I didn't watch it before when I think I knew about this drama since it was announced.
Gosh I hate Yeomjong character so much. The actor did a really great job. Hard to believe he's the same good character in Princess's Man and Gunman in Joseon.
Boys Over Flowers => powerful high school boys bullying a female lead just doesn't appeal to me. It was also shown at the same time where historical kdramas with strong female leads and interesting villains were also shown (ex: Queen Seon Deok).
cant believe no one answered Jewel in the Palace, thought it was quite a hit. It may have been Stairway to Heaven as my actual first kdrama (on television), but Jewel in the Palace was the first one I have the complete episodes to watch and made me fell for kdramas. Although I also occasionally watch modern dramas (some on TV), the ones I really loved especially back then in the 2000s were the historical dramas. Some of them were shown on TV while a few weren't.
It's been 11 days. Wondering what's taking them so long.
they sent me a message they can't accept the photo. i did send them a cropped version of the photo, maybe the way i cropped it was wrong, maybe you can try.
=> This is the historical figure Deokro was based on
