Because it's Taiwanese not Chinese. They have different taste for bl like Taiwanese is prefer like step-brother bl so you'll know like anything that from there is like that & Chinese is more like toxic, r4pe, brutality, step-brother with toxicity etc. Btw it's just stereotypes, not everyone from that country liking that genre but it's just my opinion bc it's what i observe when watch Taiwanese BL or Chinese BL(or Bromance/censored bl)

Decent series, nothing much nothing crazy. I enjoy this series except episode 8 that really boring, but the rest is not bad. The main is funny, the story is not really my type bc yk..... Yeah the actor really good job but they can do better. 7.5 from me

Every people have different taste, if you don't like it so it's YOU the problem, not other people. Probably your taste is bad so you cannot see the good things from this series. It's almost 2 year and what? People still hyping because they deserve it, it's the BEST KBL that i always watch. If you didn't like it, just say it why you don't like it but don't say that "don't deserve", it's TOTALLY DESERVE IT. Don't blame others that hyping it, but blame yourself because you cannot saw the good show. Or probably you the person that liking hypocrisy, mid & Mediocre series, like The Eighth Sense series xD

Watch Abo desire or other Chinese BL when u waiting. It's definitely worth it rather than gmmtv project that probably will not come( i'm here bc i wanna watch Marcpoon but it got canceled so i don't wait anymore, xD )

Don't expect too much. The novel Second couple is barely appearing and the drama is much screen time of them rather than in novel. They even add new scene of second couple in here like the novel only mention Gao-Wenlang like 5% only, but in drama it got 15%-20% i guess. Gao-Wenlang only appear much in special episodes, but special episodes it's more Main couple stories rather than Gao-Wenlang

Episode 8 is meh, the budget is not budgeting, the plot is not plotting and the acting is not actinging... Like what the heck is that? Si Yeol bad expression and bad acting like soo boring acting, there's no soul on him over there. It's feels like not BL series, just bunch crab of friendship series. I mean, look at the bromance of china, it's just bromance but feels like romance even there's no kiss or something like that but feels that there's romance in it but this series? Not really, boring plot whatsoever. It's still good in Manhwa rather in Drama but too much s3x scene over there so....

Overall imo, the good thing over here just Na Ae jun & Yeon Jo ha interaction. Feels natural and have chemistry

Since i watch abo desire, the second couple is reminders me about Hailouyin like Gao tu face is sooo similar with Bai Louyin like... When i saw him, i'm gonna miss Bailouyin like.... They are look a like😊 and i think Gao Tu is soo perfect if they making any Addicted, again, hopefully
