I’ve never seen a reverse wedding before had me cracking tf up 😂 also I’m so happy Li Yunrui FINALLY is…
he's got another drama as the male lead coming up probably released in the second quarter of 2025, it's a historical one called Blossom with the FL as Meng Ziyi. I don't know much about the plot, but the filming looked really good from what I can tell.
This is maybe something I stupidly missed in the last few episodes, but didn’t Jiang Ci’s master say that…
That's why I can't help but label her as a bigot. Even after seeing all of Yueluo's suffering after sheltering herself from it for 20 years, she still continues to hang stubbornly onto her disgustingly selfish and inhumane stance that they somehow deserve it through her twisted logic in which she places herself and the people she's close to (her sister and Prince Qi) on a pedestal and act as if their lives are worth the probably tens to hundreds of thousands of Yueluo lives lost.
This is maybe something I stupidly missed in the last few episodes, but didn’t Jiang Ci’s master say that…
From a certain perspective I guess her stance could be justified, but she refuses to listen to any other perspective and her attitude when addressing him and then in extension all of Yueluo is so arrogant, belittling and degrading. She implies that Yueluo deserves its tragedy because they betrayed Prince Qi, even without clear evidence that Xiao Haitian actually caused it, because if she had evidence then she would have already shown it by now (I just finished Episode 30). From what I see, she's finding someone to blame based on her biased logic, and then using that logic to state that Yueluo deserves to be subjugated. She's not a good person and I don't empathise with her at all. I don't care if all the information that she has points towards Xiao Haitian, she still lacks completely in common human empathy. Also, something that's also been bothering me is how she seems to act like the events also extend to be Xiao Yujia's and Xiao Wuxia's faults even though when the tragedy happened, they were both just children. I can say that all she did when 'confronting' Xiao Yujia is talk absolute nonsense and slander to her face, not even let Xiao Yujia get a single word in to actually defend herself and put some sense into that delusional bigot's head, and then hold her hostage which potentially could have caused her to die in childbirth.
This is maybe something I stupidly missed in the last few episodes, but didn’t Jiang Ci’s master say that…
That last sentence of your reply is so on point. She just wants to blame someone for her own misery and she actually doesn't care who it is. But the other important thing is that she's shifting the blame off of her. At the end of the day, she doesn't want to take responsibility for the tragedy and subjugation of Yueluo. Because even if it wasn't her intention or direct plan, as I mentioned in my comment, she still went along with the choice of Yueluo even though it was basically the perfect target for the Liang State. She's an assassin from another state. She should have enough education to know that Yueluo is a bad choice and know what the consequences of her actions would be if things went south, and they did. Instead of taking accountability and offering an explanation to the Yueluo people, she just ran away and hid for two decades while the people of Yueluo suffered, all the while blaming their leader for her own suffering. And while I don't really want to compare suffering and things like that, I just want to say that it's an objective fact that the people of Yueluo suffered more than her. In the end, if we look at the bigger picture, she caused Yueluo to suffer massively and then blames Yueluo for her own suffering. And what really frustrates me the most is how she still manages to have such an arrogant attitude. I just finished Episode 30 and I had to scream into a pillow when she commented about how she couldn't have possibly caused Xiao Yu Jia to die in childbirth. Like could she learn to shut up? I question whether she possesses empathy or humanity as she only seems to care about herself.
I've just finished Ep29 yesterday and I have to get my thoughts out. When I see content about the drama on other social media platforms, I always see comments about how the viewers don't like either of the male leads and they think that the female lead would be better off without either of them. I can understand the hatred of the second male lead fully and even a tiny bit of the hatred of the male lead, but just no. Jiang Ci and Master Yan annoy the shit out of me. I'm sorry to say it about Jiang Ci, but I have no qualms regarding the Master. First of all, I'll talk about Jiang Ci. She is mostly a good person and in Yueluo her empathy towards their suffering was really shown at the forefront and so I had faith in her that she would continue to be empathetic and understanding as part of her character development. But no! As soon as she's out of Yueluo, as soon as she's not hearing their stories and seeing their suffering and mistreatment first hand, it's almost like it doesn't matter to her anymore. It's so frustrating! I get that she's upset that Xiao Wuxia used her, I would be upset to. But at a certain point, it's too much! Please have some basic empathy and humanity! She said herself that everyone misunderstands him, but she's the one not even attempting to understand him now! One thing that she should clearly understand by now is that Xiao Wuxia doesn't hurt people for no reason, he's not from Liang State. He always has a reason, and his reason (which she knows) is that he wants to get justice for his family and the whole of Yueluo. She's witnessed their subjugation and abuse and mistreatment. She was even treated as a Yueluo person when a Zhenyuan soldier tried to kidnap her and take her as his concubine. But as soon as someone that she knows is involved (because she should know by now is that Xiao Wuxia doesn't just involve random people for the fun of it), she's okay with the situation of Yueluo? Suddenly she no longer possesses empathy or humanity? If I was in her position, I would be glad to be used by him! Me being used could be greatly beneficial to the lives of a whole tribe of people that have been suffering for decades unfairly. And, it's not even like I was mistreated or anything, I was literally taken good care of and protected from danger and other people trying to use me for their selfish reasons (Pei Yan). If I was her, I would be disgusted that my Master, the person that raised me for my whole life, could potentially be involved in the Yueluo situation. This is really long, but now I'll talk about how much I hate Master Yan. I genuinely have zero empathy for her at all, and that extends to her sister and Prince Qi. Oh no, this man was born in the lap of luxury, he could eat expensive food, wear expensive clothes, and kept slaves and servants, his life was not in danger in any way, he never knew suffering. Oh no, in return for his wealth and good life, there were responsibilities and restrictions, and that's so dreadfully hard to live with that he now wishes to live the hard life of a commoner that he's never experienced in his life. And I'm supposed to be empathetic towards him? In the writer's dreams! And even if he selfishly ran away, why the hell did he choose Yueluo out of all places? Yes, it was depicted as a heaven on earth, but maybe with his wide education he could use some CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS and discern that Yueluo is only a small city on the border of two warring states that's caught up in constant conflict, and is home to its own small, practically defenceless tribe that has it's own distinctly different culture than Liang State. If he or the Yan sisters used their brain, maybe they could think that they shouldn't take the risk to put a place and population that is basically the perfect target for subjugation in grave danger! Why on earth did they choose this path of "abducting" him? They could have done something smart like pretending that he died and then hiding in Wei State. That way, wow, there's no small minority tribe that could potentially be blamed for the death of a PRINCE. It's almost like they were trying to not think with their brains. And honestly, her arrogant, holier-than-thou attitude actually makes me want to rip my hair out. All she sees is the starting point of the Xiao siblings living peacefully as the children of the city lord in Yueluo, and the ending point of them being a consort and a commander and conclude that they must have gotten there easily without any effort. Is she actually a human? Does she have human emotions and empathy? It really pisses me off when the characters in this drama only have empathy when it comes to people that they know personally, which was Pei Yan and Master Yan and is now apparently Jiang Ci as well. I think I'm too emotionally attached to this drama, it's gotten to the point that whenever I think about Yueluo I start tearing up.
I'm currently on ep 17, how much agony is on my way? I want to get prepared!
Things really take a turn at the exact halfway point in Episode 18. Quite a bit of agony I would say as in he loses all of his memories and is kind of a new character. But the charm that you love Ji Yang for is still there, just with an interesting, sadistic new flavour. I don't really know what the character is referred to as in the random, either Ji Yang 2.0 or Yin, I'll refer to him as Yin. He's not evil, but he's a lot more indifferent than the former Ji Yang, he could rule the world but he doesn't have the ambition to because he simply doesn't find it interesting. In terms of the female lead, she also becomes a new character in my opinion, obviously less drastic because she doesn't lose her memories, but she's overcome with grief and becomes a lot more cold and decisive, with her main goal being cleansing the world of demons. There's a time skip of three years so all of the characters are more powerful and less youthful.

Please don't read my below reply if you don't want moderate-heavy spoilers, I basically described Episodes 18-19 and the set up for the second half of the drama.
Hello, fellow Carat! I’d have to agree 100% with you. I’ve watched Wonderland of Love and her chemistry with…
I finished both of those dramas thankfully. My favourite GOSE episodes are the pitch meeting one (idk how to explain but it's the one where they're in an office and they are pitching content ideas), 1 and 2 of the mafia games, treasure island, haunted house, mousebusters, rice paddy and the one during christmas when they have to play games to get out of the santa suits (idk how to explain this one)
Hello, fellow Carat! I’d have to agree 100% with you. I’ve watched Wonderland of Love and her chemistry with…
I'm currently watching Love You Seven Times and Meet Yourself. My goal is to finish them both today bc I've been in the home stretch since before The Princess Royal started airing and I have a feeling that if I don't finish them now it will be a long time before I do. I'm on Episode 33 of Love You Seven Times and Episode 35 of Meet Yourself. they're both really good but I just paused at boring parts so I didn't have much motivation to finish them. And of course, seventeen is a group that can be enjoyed by all ages. after I finish my dramas I'll probably rewatch my favourite GOSE episodes

Now I'm really excited to watch both Wonderland of Love and Exclusive Fairytale. After I finish a few dramas that I've been watching for a while, then those two are definitely the next on my list. I can't believe I'll be so old by the time we have an OT13 reunion... I've been a carat since 2022 so it'll be a long time for me.
I finished this drama and enjoyed it a lot but I 100% agree with your take about the women empowerment in this…
If the political part made you want to drop the drama, then I wouldn't continue bc the political part takes up a lot of time. There's less moving around but it's not that interesting. If you really want to continue, just skip to the parts with the leads.
I finished this drama and enjoyed it a lot but I 100% agree with your take about the women empowerment in this…
Personally, I felt a lot of chemistry between the leads from the start, which helped me to finish the drama. If you don't have that feeling of strong chemistry, it will definitely be much harder to finish the drama. Episode 11 is a scene to go down in the history books. I also expected a bigger change in their relationship, but I think it's also natural for the female lead considering her backstory and overall personality. There are some other big moments like Episode 11 in Episode 20-21 and Episode 25, and their relationship really takes a turning point at Episode 25 onwards. That episode is when the female lead finally truly admits her feelings for the male lead. Whether or not you want to finish this drama is up to you. The romance becomes much better but there's a lot of politics which aren't that well done in my opinion, and there's also too much highlight on the second male lead for my personal taste. Overall I really enjoyed it but it's up to you whether you want to try and push through.
Dropping this drama midway felt like ending a bad relationship.I tried my best, and even after giving up, I wondered…
I finished this drama and enjoyed it a lot but I 100% agree with your take about the women empowerment in this drama. Throughout watching, and retrospectively, the power imbalance felt a little weird. When they were friends in the second life it felt the most normal like a married couple bickering, but after they got married the power difference got more and more weird. It just felt like she was mistreating him for no reason a lot, and he was constantly sacrificing for her. Maybe it's a compromise for her from her lofty position, but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth when thinking about it.
Hello, fellow Carat! I’d have to agree 100% with you. I’ve watched Wonderland of Love and her chemistry with…
I'll definitely watch Wonderland of Love after I've finished this one, Jing Tian is such a captivating actress and she seems really natural. I also love strong female characters so I'm looking forward to watching it. Nan Yan is such a strong character as well. As Nan Yan she is dedicated to protecting others and stands her ground no matter what, and as the Bloody-handed Asura she has a different kind of aura, kind of like a goddess. So, I'm very excited to watch Wonderland of Love, although I'm not the biggest fan of Xu Kai. I watched a little bit of As Beautiful As You and found him to be an okay actor. Is his acting good in Wonderland of Love? Also, did you hear about the news of Jeonghan and Jun?? It's heartbreaking but on the bright side I'm excited to see what dramas he'll act in. I'm going to watch Exclusive Fairytale as soon as possible too.

Hello!! I'm glad we're both enjoying Love's Rebellion so far. In terms of Wonderland of Love, I've seen a few scenes where they have amazing chemistry so I'm very excited. How would you rate it on plot and aesthetic? Also, who's your SVT bias? Mine are minghao, dokyeom, seungkwan and dino (I know that I bias basically a quarter of the group)
I watched all of the episodes so far in three days, why do we have to wait?? So far I love the acting and the light-heartedness of this drama, it's so refreshing to watch. And as a carat, Minghao's OST makes me so emotional. The visual and acting chemistry between JT and ZLH is so amazing. Right now, it's not really the same because he doesn't have his memories, but they still have chemistry even now nonetheless. In my opinion, I feel like Yin is pretty similar to JY in reality. I feel that JY always had these undertones to his character and now they're just more pronounced. ZLH really knows how to act in this kind of role, the combination of JY's goofiness and Yin's 'evilness' (?) feels like it was created for him. This is my first JT drama, she's such a good actress and NY fits her so well for what? After this I'm definitely going to watch Wonderland of Love. Such a good drama so far. I'm interested to see how this goes.
literally me too, I've watched Fox Spirit Matchmaker, The Princess Royal, Story of Kunning Palace and now Love's…
maybe I will one day, I just tend to get attached to dramas really easily, in one of the dramas I watched I cried like 14 times in 40 episodes and it wasn't even a sad ending so I don't know how I would survive MJTY
This is the drama that made me fall for Zhang Ling He HELP 😭 i watched 3 of his dramas in the span of two weeks
literally me too, I've watched Fox Spirit Matchmaker, The Princess Royal, Story of Kunning Palace and now Love's Rebellion/Reborn for Love all in a row. he's such a good actor and very versatile as well. His character and acting was very memorable in FSMM, I don't even need to comment on TPR, SoKP the acting and character was so good it blew me away, and LR/RFL is looking really good so far. he's able to add a unique feel to the character every single time, such a skilled actor.
Hey TPR lovers! wanna have some fun? lol what is your PeiRong favorite line? I like when RongRong went to see…
my favourite has to be in Episode 3 when PWX thinks that the one he failed was the Princess Royal. That line really touched my heart for some reason. He tried so hard to help everyone and do the right thing, but in the end, he was still lonely and he still failed to be with and protect the one in his heart. PWX the angel.
