the production team tried too hard to make him a complex character but in reality he's quite simple and all of the screen time was completely unnecessary in the end. raised my blood pressure for no reason.

The main leads in this drama don't just have good chemistry they have a great dynamic as well, and that's what I think makes the two of them so great. ZLH and ZJM are skillful actors and they brought their characters to life. I hope you enjoy this drama.

the screen time of SRQ was so unnecessary in this drama. I'm currently reading the novel and I think I'm about three quarters through and SRQ's brother is more relevant than him. idk what the people behind the drama were thinking but his character was so annoying and I found it impossible to sympathize with him.

When it comes to the person he loves, PWX isn't as selfish. If there was another candidate besides him then he would want LR to choose the other one. SRQ pretends that he doesn't care, but in reality he doesn't want LR and PWX to be happy together. He's just waiting for them to break up so that he can 'seduce' LR again.

PWX's idea of love is communication and support of what his partner wants to do. He wants both of them to empowered, emotionally vulnerable and satisfied in their relationship.
SRQ's idea of love is deciding what the other person wants for them in an effort to 'keep them safe'. He doesn't care about his partner's wants and dreams, he only cares about his own.

He labels all of his actions as 'for LR's own good', even though he has no way of knowing what's good for her, because he never communicates with her and asks what she wants. He can't accept the fact that his actions are simply to help himself and not LR. He doesn't respect her boundaries and constantly gets involved in her business for no reason. He seems to have deluded himself with the mindset that LR is in love with him, or is 'waiting' for him. He always shows distaste and anger to anyone who 'harms' LR, but he completely overlooks the fact that he emotionally manipulated her for 17 years and killed her. So what right does he have to judge how others treat her? His attitude of thinking he's so high and above all of the other characters is insufferable.

I can't wait for the next episodes. SRQ saying that anybody who lets down LR will be killed is annoying as always because he was the one that let her down in the first place! How dare he act as if he's so high and above PWX, and has the right to judge how PWX treats LR? He's so unlikeable it's frustrating.

I'm usually silent when watching but if it's a peirong scene or a SRQ scene it's a different story. in ep18 when he told pwx to conduct himself well I said and you conduct yourself off the nearest cliff

The thought that even if SRQ wasn't involved in PWX's death, he still mentioned that PWX's death filled him with happiness and courage?! Who does he think he is? Completely disrespectful and concerning lack of EQ and IQ, to the point where I'm questioning in this life instead of losing his manhood he lost his brain. Seriously, what is he even doing? Her husband didn't even "die" three weeks ago and he's already trying to propose to her. Is there something wrong with him?

LR's slap to the uncle was so deserved. Her stepping up in defence of PWX was so satisfying.

I feel like the viewers have high expectations of how fast-paced the romance is because the misunderstandings are being cleared up so quickly. Viewers are forgetting that there's 40 episodes, not 25 episodes. There's still a long time of the drama left for their relationship to develop fully and it would be boring if they got together super early. In my opinion they are already pretty intimate/romantic for a drama of this length.
