I normally never comment on episodes, I usually wait until the drama ends… but I couldn’t help myself this time. I’m not even finished with episode 31 and I just… I don’t even know how to describe how I feel 😭 Dongfang Qingcang is suffering so much and I just want to hug him and protect him from everything. And Rong Hao + Jie Li… ugh, they’re driving me insane! This drama is such an emotional rollercoaster and I feel like my heart might not survive, but I can’t stop watching.
i recommend fated hearts. love in the clouds is very different from this drama. if it wasn't for he yu's acting,…
Thank you! I’ll save this drama for later 🥰 I recently started Love Between a Fairy and a Devil. It’s not really a switch since I’m still watching both, but I’ve paused Dashing Youth for now.
I'm on episode 11, and this drama still isn’t grabbing me 😭 Honestly, I love both lead actors and really wanted to give this drama a chance, but it’s been so hard to get into… Maybe it’s just not my kind of thing. The drama I watched before this one was 'Love in the Clouds' and I loved it!
this drama has the usual sexist ktrope reversed - FL is the cold egoistical brat and ML is a giving kind person.…
When I saw it was a role reversal, I got super excited and started watching the drama, but honestly, it was a bit underwhelming. No idea how they’ll fix things in the last episodes, hope they don’t rush it all.
I have to admit, the beginning felt really weak and didn’t grab me, but I’m on episode 2 and still giving it a chance. I just hope it picks up soon, because right now I keep getting distracted by my phone instead of being fully into it. 👀

I really wanted to like this drama because the concept itself has a lot of potential. But as the story continues to unfold, I’m finding it difficult to truly connect with it.
For me, the issue isn’t about whether the story is realistic or not, what matters most is the emotional bond between the characters. In dramas like Tale of the Nine Tailed, My Roommate Is a Gumiho, Goblin, and especially Doom at Your Service, you can clearly feel the growing intimacy between the leads. You see that they genuinely care about each other, their connection evolves naturally, and there aren’t many moments that break that emotional flow.
In this drama, the leads sometimes come across as emotionally distant, almost like two actors who don’t fully know each other yet. There are moments where their chemistry shows, but the consistency isn’t quite there, which makes it harder for me to become emotionally invested.
I also don’t see this as a problem with the actors themselves. She has done well in other dramas, and while I’m less familiar with his work, he doesn’t strike me as a bad actor either. To me, it feels more related to the way the relationship is being written and developed.
Emotional connection is very important to me when I watch a drama. When I don’t feel that intimacy between the characters, I start to lose interest, even if I don’t want to. I’m still hoping the upcoming episodes bring a strong turning point because I would genuinely love to finish this drama with a positive impression.
But if that shift doesn’t happen, I might end up giving it a lower rating, not out of harshness, but simply because it didn’t resonate with me the way I hoped it would.
I’ve just finished episode 8 of this drama, and honestly, from the very beginning I’ve struggled to connect with the characters, especially the female lead. I feel like there’s a lack of emotional chemistry between them.
For some reason, something just isn’t clicking. I’m not sure if it’s the way the female lead is written or if it’s the actress’s performance, but I find it hard to fully engage with her character. There’s just something missing for me, and it keeps me from being completely immersed in the drama.
ep 6 stated He's cut out from the 4th Division team recently and currently doesn't have a job 😅 he was switched…
They'll play the lottery and win a prize 🤣 I'm finding it a bit unrealistic that he's not working... 👀 and spent money on meals and amusement parks... His friend was supposedly quite poor and ate at home with his father, so how come he's always eating out? 😭 unless his friend is sending him money, but they haven't talked about it yet...
