In dramas like Tale of the Nine Tailed, My Roommate Is a Gumiho, Goblin, and especially Doom at Your Service, you can clearly feel the growing intimacy between the leads. You see that they genuinely care about each other, their connection evolves naturally, and there arenāt many moments that break that emotional flow.
In this drama, the leads sometimes come across as emotionally distant, almost like two actors who donāt fully know each other yet. There are moments where their chemistry shows, but the consistency isnāt quite there, which makes it harder for me to become emotionally invested.
I also donāt see this as a problem with the actors themselves. She has done well in other dramas, and while Iām less familiar with his work, he doesnāt strike me as a bad actor either. To me, it feels more related to the way the relationship is being written and developed.
