Is it just me or does anyone else also feel the need for more angst than comedy? The beginning of the series led me to believe there will be more angst. Yes, the comedy is also good but I feel the lack of consistency over the episodes, a genre so to say. It started off tragic, moved on to a serious-ish theme then turned comedic where the screenplay could have been more angsty with subtler comedy. Especially the scene where they act as a loving couple- the idea development scenes were somewhat unnecessary. I would have enjoyed it far better had there been a constant background tone to the series than this roller coaster ride.

I feel torn between hating the ml for what he did and understanding why….. my dad would have been the same had he been from a richer family=(=(

Yeah…. That’s what I thought…. First look at her feels off on the very first episode…..

Am I too late to the ZLS return party? Or is this the series she shot before her problems?

Irozuku doesn’t work in many places…. They say it has a ban due to court order…. I’m unable to watch there

Seems like they’ve mixed 2 stories….. yakuza lover, Ikinari kon and blended them into this concoction….. having fun with this stuff <3

Depends which part of the world you’re in…. Maybe not in this exact way but women play second fiddle in most aspects of life and to relieve the frustration, maybe women like to see this stuff… not saying me, but this one has an 8.0 rating

I think this is more like the opposite of what happens in real life…. Only in drama can women win in a patriarchal society…. The revenge seeking feminist in me is happy but the rational me is disappointed that women are shown in a bad light in such drama

I guess they took a very legit and original Korean story and Americanised it……. This is real neoconialism for you…….

I felt Rosa’s back story was dragged in many places…. The I’m deaf now I can’t be your soulmate seems like a lack of imagination from the writer…. If not for that trope I would have rated this higher 8.5 for me

Will the ML die at the end?? I think I should wait for the series to end before watching another episode…….

It’s more emotional than sad…. It reminded me of my parents’ struggles as we grew up
I could relate to most of Yang Geum Myeong’s feelings

You’ll be crying a lot more….. I just finished ep12 and my roommates don’t know if I’m really crying in my life or after watching this series
I laughed when breakups happened and cried when something good was happening to the characters…. I can’t explain it right

I didn’t even know this happened coz I skipped it…. Even in the end I do not see a purpose for 2nd leads…. Felt like a reference to when I fly to you with all those video clips……. Unncecary
