on a side note, how did lys catch nxg in that scene? He must have had to predict the trajectory of the skis and any movement by nxg to pull that off.... I think that scene would have gone with both of them rolling on the slopes 99% of the time

The one episode schedule did not go as bad as I thought it would….. it had the same amount of content as the 2 ep days…. Meaning the 2 eps just go slower in terms of content 😌

From the description of this series on some websites I got to know that JerkXu is a permanent fixture….. ughhhh🤮

And they exist in real life aplenty…. JerkXu’s character is so commonplace that it has no business in a drama that has to make you feel good unless he suffers endlessly…. Which doesn’t happen in real life at all

I get you want more action/story/motion whatever you want to call it, but I think it the fl pov was the most stable and leads to the easiest screenplay. Imagine with this pace, they took lx’s or hzq’s pov, would have been at least 1000 episodes

Her acting is so good in that episode, I started hating the actor…. Saw her in another series a s a genuinely kind person and was waiting for the other shoe to drop until the very end😅🥹

The family is selfish, sure, but the mother is actually out for revenge, the monster… she thinks lx owes her something even after all those years…. He gets it right in a later (probably last) episode when he asks his his father if his sister has forgiven him and lhp doesn’t know how to reply

I just have to point out that while all the issues of Ling Xiao and He Ziqiu are going on, how they are away from their family and back again, Li Jianjian and Li Haichao have a very stable relationship with each other. It seems like Haichao raised JianJian with such affection that she had it in her to give to others as well…. Never felt like she had to compete with anyone for her father’s attention, secure in her beliefs about herself and her status in the family…. Really hard to achieve for parents with multiple children, let alone a single parent with non biological children 😊😇😇

The dad was poor early on so the gold digger married some rich guy who kicked the bucket early.... By this time this guy got richer and she came back with excuses of terminal illness.... And he succumbed to her acting, divorced fl's Mom and is taking care of her for the past many years....

The gold digger's daughter is also a mean one... She calls herself 'the' Nie daughter when the actual daughter isn't around and that's how LYS got into the accident.... This has been alluded to but hasn't been shown yet in the series
