I’d like to see Zhu Yi create a genuinely complex character. When it comes to male roles, the reactions tend to be more forgiving I didn’t mind the change in this case. It wasn’t the strongest plot device, but it did add some layers to Yifan's character, which makes sense. After going through the comments following episodes 24 and 25, it’s clear female characters get criticized to the extreme, even over minor flaws. Makes me wonder, are most people here women or men? 🤔
