Can you suggest me a drama that has no boring part 😂
Story of Kunning Palace - I can't recall a boring part in that, because that drama was intelligent, even when it was just a "cats' fight" those parts were also well written, unique and interesting. All of the actors were very good, even the supporting ones. I wish I could forget it to start it again.

What a nonsense love story 🙄
Maybe but that was not the point, as a political-intelligence point of view it was absolutely great, all the supporting acors and roles were great, there was not a boring minute in the drama. Their love and endurance, suffeing was over the top. Love is about emotions, if you can tell why you love a certain person then something is missing because love is not about the brain but a strange attraction. Please forgive me to say this, but if you think love depends on your mind and balancing about benefits (what the girl did to the boy's family - your previous comment) you have no idea what love is and how it "works" Peace.

Just rewatched a few scenes, this drama and her character really fits Moon Chae Won. I wish to see her in another…
She is talented and absolutely lovely, her perfomrance in this was over the top, also in the Flower of Evil. I came to the conclusion that many of them are not poor actors, the script, directing and serving are poor but them. She also had a cute movie I liked a lot but being honest, I like the ML a lot, too. Mood of the Day.

Me, too. One of my biggest favirote dramas ever. For feeling / emotions Bitchunmo was similar (Dance in the Sky)…
You'll find it here if you search for the dramas of Joo Jin Mo, ML (I don't know why direct link was not allowed, sorry)

Bicheonmo or Bicheonmoo, there are two versions, a Chinese (longer with less cuts) and a Korean (castrated). This is the Korean adaptation (makes the story uneven), try to find the Chinese please.
(Didn't allow link to put here, sorry.)
I bought it on DVD but was very poor quality, later I found it on Avista, better quality. The story is heartbreaking but rather good.

I wished Ji Yang 2.0 was evil, or at least struggling between kindness and darkness. That would've made the character…
To be honest, he had good, sparkling chemistry with only one actress, Bai Lu. They should be put together in other dramas. The chemistry now is still better than it was in the My Journey. Still, he is the only reason I carry on watching this series, his acting is good, the poor script is not his fault or the FL's. She was also very good in other dramas. The rest of them are just meh, shame, the man who played the duke in the Kunning is also a good actor and was very good in that drama. Actors alone can't built a castle from sh... (sorry for my French)

Childish. Honestly I constantly lost focus while watching the first 6-8 episodes, I couldn't feel with or even…
It's not really pidgeon holing him into one type, the drama (plot, serving) is bad, poor, childish no matter who would be the male lead. I emphasized the Kunning only because I saw him in more dramas, he is good to be hilarious (Fox Spirit or the human part of Love Between Fairy) but Xie Wei was his big role and he played it perfecly. I saw him first in Love Between Fairy, I found him to be a good new actor but I didn't remember his name and didn't try to find other dramas with him only because of that role. The rest of dramas with him were weak dramas including the My Journey, except the Kunning but that was a well written and well served story with believable and intelligent characters.
I rephrase then, I wish there would be more intelligent dramas with well built characters and plot to give the possibilty to the actors to shine. Now who knows how long we have to wait for another one, especially that the system is cruel, Deng Lun was also outstanding in Ashes of Love but disappeared.
Sorry for the long comment, the more I think about it, the more I find that the problem is the drama itself and the director, screenwriter, desing. I also realized that I liked most of the dramas made by the director of Kunning, his work is the closest to my cup of tea, I hope he will work again with him.
The other thing is the charisma, most male actors today are pretty with a strong feminin edge, there is just a handful of guys who are different, Deng Lun, ZLH, Darren Wang (The Wolf), or most recently Tan Jian Ci (Lost You Forever), these actors have the charisma I prefer if I watch a drama to help me "run away" but they still need a good story and director to play well.

i haven't started but without any spoilers why is it rated low right now?
In my opinion because they mixed poor comedy - at least it is very poor but funny to me, and drama, tragedy. Either this or that, the both without careful balance don't work together. Who should be dangerous puppet or person is rather formed to look to be a cutie. Eg. scorpion and the bugs or the little monster in the FL. (I hope it doesn't count as spoiler.) It's like a tale for children before bed. As the emotions can't reach you (or at least they can't reach me) the overall effect is that it is absolutely boring. Will be better a bit after 10. But just a bit. Some mentioned Ashes of Love (eternal favorite of mine), this is not even close, there they mixed the comedy well with the drama, danger, tragedy parts, the caracters were well built and the script was rarely boring. I think some of us just want an emotional roller-coster. The main actors are good and talented but can't save the poor script, and poor serving of the rest.

Question to people who don't like the drama ... what are the most annoying things about it?
Childish. Honestly I constantly lost focus while watching the first 6-8 episodes, I couldn't feel with or even interested in the characters. I absolutely love ML since the Kunning and really liked FL in The City of Streamer, both are talented actors, a waste. The other thing is that FL doesn't suit to this role, not because of the age gap, she looks young but she has a matured aura, trying to be cute and innocent, even silly is just not for her. The plot is simply weird, it is as if an AI would write the script based on pieces of "this is what people like" then would put these pieces into a pot, stirred. I can't feel the drama, the love, nothing, I can't even focus. However some parts after 10 were better and more interesting, I carried on watching because of the ML. Let's hope it will be better later. I so wish he would get roles in more political, more intelligent dramas instead of being either a puppy (TPR) or forced to be into a childish plot. It's for 14 years old and below. Xie Wei fits him the best, he was outstanding in that.
