Its not your cup of tea then
If you couldn't stand just one episode, means you didn't even give the chance to the actors / actresses / drama to unfold. LYF the seasons belonged together, while the beginning had some light hearted moments the second part didn't and was a bit dragged, agreed.
I am not a professional to tell exactly what was wrong with this show, I just couldn't care about the characters, I felt it childish, exaggerated, poor acting (or poorly written characters where even acting can't help), a jumps in the story-line, lack of charisma, to me till that part I saw only Li Lun was the only one with charisma enough to make his character interesting. The OST is bad, especially that rap or whatever part, the dancing at the end also bad and unsuitable, the young healer is unbelievable and annoying, the zombie-like part is "let's go with the fashion, put some make no sense z-s into it", when their stories start to unfold it again, just makes no sense. I can kill people just to live on their energy (mondern brainwashing on demons called in 'Loosh collecting' in the western world, justifying killing and cruelty), it is propaganda in disguise what the next generation can and should tolerate sold on the back of eye candy (probably popular?) guys. Time to make one with them about the moon landing or a worldwide pandemic. :)

Then I am a bit better than you as having more patiente, I never gave up chinese dramas only based on one episode or less, I gave the chance to them to unfold. I dropped this at the middle of the 6th when I saw that the story was inconsistent but full with eye-candy guys (idols as it tured out) who are not good enough actors yet to carry the show and to make me care about their story/fate. My problem is the wasted time based on the scores only, absolutely annoying, comment written because of frustration.
It has a similar vibe to the Korean version of Scarlett Heart, the Chinese was good, the Korean was not, it was childish, exaggerated, many plot holes, but were full with dancing idols and modern stuff, too. They thought that that only could carry the show and the script and the rest were not important. I hope this won't be the trend in future, it is harder and harder to find good dramas.

guys is my journey to you is also a good drama like this one?i miss this kind of drama so im looking with a same…
Depends on your taste, high scores and I didn't like that either. There was no chemistry between the main lead couple, there was more between the second lead couple. Characters were poorly written without real depth, in many points the story just made no sense to me even ZLH, the main lead, couldn't save that show. I dropped this one because I couldn't feel with the characters. Their fortune, future, emotions couldn't touch me just how they couldn't in the My Journey to you. On my part is annoying because of wasted time, invested because of the high scores I believed. However I would say the second ML in this show was better in MJTY. I managed to finish MJTY and didn't this one.

True. I really liked Ashes of Love, I was ok with Blue Whisper, was in love with Lost You Forever, I don't know what's wrong, I just find it boring, none of the characters / actors are charismatic enough to carry the show. Sorry and thanks. Just the big hype, with this rating I expected something really good.

I am at eposide 5 and sorry, don't understand the hype. Will it be any better later? Lots of eye candy actors and actresses, the healer boy is annoying to me, the story is a bit hard to follow. Will there be any real romance? Not interested in bromance, sorry. The vision is great, costumes and so but apart from that I am not hooked. All looks just so ridiculously young, almost no matured cast, was the teenager aged audience the target only? Will there be any depth? Intelligent conversations, intelligent solutions? Thinking on dropping.

Overflowing chemistry? Where? Maybe with ZLH, that WAS a chemistry. To me he was weak even in the Double. He is handsome but there is something in him that I have to yawn whenever he is onscreen. Maybe just my preferences. He is good actor but somehow he is not lead -material, he is great in supporting roles but again, if he is the lead, I found the drama rather boring even if it is a good one otherwise.
Lily Alice Nov 17, 2024
Not so happy. The guy is a good actor and handsome but somehow also boring (to me at least), he is not hot and doesn't have charisma. Bai Liu was great with ZLH in the Kunning Palace and also had good chemistry with the other guy she played with in the Legends. I would say, good pairing is the most important if the drama has romance. If the chemistry is poor, it can kill even the best dramas.

Title Snowfall
Well, some people should learn with this....Stephen Meyer (Twilight author) should watch this and understand that…
I beg to differ, Meyer is crap, you are right, but the Inteview with the Vampire movie was spot on, one of the best, it is from an Anne Rice novel with Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, beautiful cinematography, beautiful background music, ancient (ish) vampires, love story? not really, sort of. Was my big favorite for many years. It is rumoured that Rice lost her daughter to leukemia and she wrote the novel because of her pain and unable to accept death. 2 hours from your life, give it a try if you think.

Person Zhang Wan Yi
He is good, not only good looking but can act. I saw this drama and previously the Lost You Forever with him,…
Oh, VZ was unforgettable in the King's Woman. Sorry, I don't know the other guy. The character they play is almost everything to me, no matter how I like an actor or actress, if the drama is not good, I can't carry on only because of them. JTC (the demon guy) was excellent in that role, he is a good actor but the next drama, Go East, was just so boring with an annoying FL that I dropped it.

Watched 8-9 eps, somehow boring, I can't really tell why but it just didn't hook me. Also poor FL is not my type, I know that appereance is not everything but somehow her poor appereance and the character she plays together is a bit too repulsive to me. Sorry. I think I give up or pick it up at a later time. Without TJC even that 8 episodes would have been unbereable.

I wondered for a long time what the lyrics of Xiao Yao's OST mean and who it's meant for. After analyzing the…
You're right. But cruel or not, he was absolutely magnetic. At the beginning he had no feelings and just let her (him) know about her limits (the 2x20 slashes), later he didn't eat her for her "treasure body" he used only the blood for healing (bad engouh, but he was a monster after all and somehow the vampirism has become trendy - giving popularity to writers and film makers). The rest, she was a god, she was not so easy to kill, he pushed her down from the back of Chubby or from the tree but that's still not "bugs eat her hands/toruture her till the level of almost dying" or "break her legs" or when her brother became narcotic dependent and hurt her.

The fox was not any better, he didn't use physical tortutre but the emotional he gave to her was absolutely over the top. Since the beginning he let her down again and again for "noble" (selfish) reasons. The granny was a monster in heart, the financee is also, brother also - there is a limit to feed the beast even if they are related to him especially if the cost is an almost eternal torture of the so called loved one. He was so weak, he didn't try to save her out from the fire (why? makes no sense), he just went into a coma - his actions were pathetic to me.

That's why I ended with the conclusion that XL was the least cruel among the 3 men around her and the most powerful to keep her safe and happy.
Sorry, this drama, the character was so addictive, how silly to still living in it? :) I hope soon there will be another good drama, I loved Ashes of Love and Story of the Kunning Palace, The Wolf, City of Streamer, those were similarly addictive one, so I hope there will be another rater soon.

The other thing is that how stupid or blind one person could be? 37 years of taking care of, a life sacrified and suffering just to save her, even if he asked something in exchange (and why not?) it was clear he loved her but she didn't notice? Or with accepting the bug. Or appearing in her life again as FFB? Or teaching her self-defense.
In my opinion there is no such thing as only friendship between man and woman because one of the parties always wants more but accepts friendship only because the other doesn't want more. XL actions were far more much you could expect from only a "friend". Again: a ruined happy ending only to reach a sad ending.
Every time she was with the cowardice fox (whose decisions made her suffer for hundreds of years, humiliated her, let her down) I felt she was cheating on XL. To be honest she didn't deserve XL's love but as he loved only her that was it ... but while she loved everyone if there was a promise to stay with her forever (why not keeping a cat instead?)! Yeah, I am finished, just was so disappointed.

What if scenario goes back to the writer. Their war at that point was pointless. At around the end soldiers was offered to leave and have a last drink before going, they stayed because "even the military advisor XL stayed". What's the point of staying when it is surely end with death of all of them? They were already heros anyway but without real support (of the people) so excalty why they carried on fighting? At that point XL character should have made the whole lot to surrender as the way they could do it was not humiliating. They were brave fighters - for how long, 100 years? - they were not all gods but normal people, how they have the offspring to go to fight at all? In a military camp without women and family around? Where do they find new soldiers to replace the old or dead? You feel it to be a complex problem but I feel it just so made up! This part - the loyality part - was strongly made up by the writer for accessing a sad end only. Yeah, because of the writer there is no good solution but in reality XL should have persuade his adopted father to give up to save lives including the father's there are better hobbies than wars, and he could have used the condition, his strenghts and connections to reach an end where the soldiers could retire honorably with home to live in there instead of place for their ashes. More hurting that both ex-kings gave free way to XL to be with XY after the ruined marriage. The old one asked where was XL/FFB to stand in front of them wanting XY, the other declared that XL/FFB was far more interesting than the guy she was engadged with. Sometimes I really hate the writer. with the feeling that XY character and cowardice/chocies based on her own life' disappointments - sorry. :) The only point she made well was that kids don't want heros, they want their parents to be with them.
