I watched the first part on Youtube to decide to watch the whole or just forget about it, sorry I don't like modern Chinese dramas as they - due to the control above ppl' lives and what can or can't be discussed - tend to be exremly boring. I might watch it, but it is not a good role for him. He is versitle, naturally good actor - but I never ever would fell for him based on this role, or Cao Pi's, was played well but he is not attractive, not handsome just a very good actor who didn't make you to fall out from the drama emotionally because of poor acting. Xiang Liu was the best role of his. The hard, superman like guy, serious but a comedian, beautiful but being a poor Harry Potter, not so handsome imitation.
You proved your talent in many different kind of dramas - could you please chose an intelligently not challenging (dumb) drama where you can shine as a clever "super-man" either a great politican, ruler, demon - whatever but forgetting about the simplified, extremly boring everyday-chinese- environment? Thank you in advance.:) Still so miss Xiang Liu. While you acted very well in everything you chose, without knowing you as Xiang Liu I probably couldn't have noticed you as you are not a bad actor to be spotted because of lack of acting.

Sorry, FL is not someone I would imagine as a beauty of attracting a guy at first look considering everything including her deceptive and shameless personality. If you are not a natural beauty then only personality can balance it - but hers was very petty.

It's just... no one can have anything about the one's appereance, I am ashamed but I don't like her very small eyes, there is no way I could find her being attractive hence, I can't live in the drama where she got the best male - based on what - because only temper could make some not so pretty to be beautiful, but at the beggining she shamelessly ... from others for disgusing herself, she shamelessly took advantage on the ML even sending him to... j. I liked all of the characters but her, if it is not TJC I never ever would bother to give a second chance to this drama. It was great, TJC and supporting cast were also great, however it was not TJC cup of tea. To be very honest, I never would notice him without the role of Xian Liu. I saw him ages ago in the Three Kingdoms, he is an extremly good an natural actor - but not the guy I would fall love with. Xiang Liu was the role he could shine as much as make as believe he is the best male in this world. :)

Healty relationship is definitely my taste, the problem is timing and lost time, unless you are a bored princess, you have no time to pamper you with a basically boring, never ending, slow burning romance to replace what you don't have in your life. I am strong enough to admit that I don't have this level of love in my personal life but as I am not a an of being suicidal, the "drug-romantic series- substitution - matters a LOT. Hope it is clear now. I want Xiang Liu back, whenever I am upset or just struggling with insomnia I use him to make me relaxed and a bit more happy. I don't live in London, I live in the UK for 17 yrs, but even just shorly visited London for embrassy like business I felt I wanted to escape. I think its fame is overrated, As about the facts, it is the worst e-smog ridden part of the world, even you in China have better regulation. I sooo miss him in that role, he is an excillent actor whatever he plays but that role was so much for him. I can't imagine another actor being as good as he was in that role. This drama is a gem. I still not fancy the FL mainly because who stole stuff from people but didn't even murmured a sorry, but TJC was great, even the supporting actors were absolutely great, the story was good without boring moments (or very few) I apologize for my previous comment, I was wrong, I gave up too early.

Same here, first I dropped it around the 8th or so, because the FL was so irritating, but during a boring holiday I picked it up again because of TJC mainly and I realised that it is a very good drama, good plot with no absolutely made up stuff (unbelievable stuff), humas act as humans with all the weakness and heroism in situations. First I had to watch it with Eng subs and that's not my mother language, meaning I lost lots of visuals while slowly reading the subs, now with my native language sub I have time to see the acting really, great. Such a gem, I think it will be among my first 5-10 best chinese dramas.

Underrated GEM, give a chance to it, it is a very good and entertaining drama, even the supproting cahracters are good, the story flows smoothly and if you enjoy sarcasm (of the system) disguised as comedy (suprisingly entertaining) give a chance to it.

Yes I am problematic, I was so silly enough I risked my life to be openly straightforward even when the world-wide-scam started from China and ended it with jabbed the population of the earth with GO based nanotech. Which exists is pulsated mWaves - capable to cause any symptoms (any illness' symptoms). You have to be very simple but your way of coercing never will work on me.
TJC is an exceptionally good actor (a natural one), he is probably an artist who can feel deep and have emphaty or he couldn't act so well. He chose spanish dance, the dance full of reflecting emotions and he did it at a young age and did it well (won a lot).
I feel so sorry for him to be restictid in that environment and I pray for him to have the courage to say no for certain roles. He is a MAN, and a very hot one, gay roles is not for him.

No problem, your choice. My problem with it, while the ML is a talented actor he is not one could give me fluttering heart, he is just not for to my taste, girlish (to me). The other thing was the silly plot without really spoilering the part on the boat, when she was a dancer (out of nowhere - absolutely not believable) my concern is that how silly people have become to accept such dump plot and even enjoying, does it reflect their IQ? If yes, we as humanity totally over.
I have a favorite movie: Idiocracy - sarcarms but after a couple of years the directors told he couldn't think back then he made a DOCUMENTARY. Watch it if you thing and best wishes to you.
