I sooo miss him in that role, he is an excillent actor whatever he plays but that role was so much for him. I can't imagine another actor being as good as he was in that role. I went mentally sick (admitted) to watch and watch again his parts in LYF, but I totally loved him in Go East (an underrated gem) and whatever he did, he is a born-to-be actor, naturally good.

I live there in the UK, while it is famous it is a dark and sad place, can't wait to escape for holydays, fancied for what exactly. Grey, dirty, over the top of e-smog.

This drama is a gem. I still not fancy the FL mainly because who stole stuff from people but didn't even murmured a sorry, but TJC was great, even the supporting actors were absolutely great, the story was good without boring moments (or very few) I apologize for my previous comment, I was wrong, I gave up too early.

Same here, first I dropped it around the 8th or so, because the FL was so irritating, but during a boring holiday I picked it up again because of TJC mainly and I realised that it is a very good drama, good plot with no absolutely made up stuff (unbelievable stuff), humas act as humans with all the weakness and heroism in situations. First I had to watch it with Eng subs and that's not my mother language, meaning I lost lots of visuals while slowly reading the subs, now with my native language sub I have time to see the acting really, great. Such a gem, I think it will be among my first 5-10 best chinese dramas.

Underrated GEM, give a chance to it, it is a very good and entertaining drama, even the supproting cahracters are good, the story flows smoothly and if you enjoy sarcasm (of the system) disguised as comedy (suprisingly entertaining) give a chance to it.

Yes I am problematic, I was so silly enough I risked my life to be openly straightforward even when the world-wide-scam started from China and ended it with jabbed the population of the earth with GO based nanotech. Which exists is pulsated mWaves - capable to cause any symptoms (any illness' symptoms). You have to be very simple but your way of coercing never will work on me.
TJC is an exceptionally good actor (a natural one), he is probably an artist who can feel deep and have emphaty or he couldn't act so well. He chose spanish dance, the dance full of reflecting emotions and he did it at a young age and did it well (won a lot).
I feel so sorry for him to be restictid in that environment and I pray for him to have the courage to say no for certain roles. He is a MAN, and a very hot one, gay roles is not for him.

No problem, your choice. My problem with it, while the ML is a talented actor he is not one could give me fluttering heart, he is just not for to my taste, girlish (to me). The other thing was the silly plot without really spoilering the part on the boat, when she was a dancer (out of nowhere - absolutely not believable) my concern is that how silly people have become to accept such dump plot and even enjoying, does it reflect their IQ? I have a favorite movie: Idiocracy - sarcarms but after a couple of years the directors told he couldn't think back then he made a DOCUMENTARY. Watch it if you thing and best wishes to you.

After a little break during a boring holiday I carried on that drama for him and I must admit it is a good drama ( I am at episode 30 and the holiday is over - free time is over).
TJC is absolutely talented, it is just me who wish to see him in more roles like Xiang Liu-s, just because I saw him earlier and he was good but he didn't left a memory to go back and chew on the feeling. :) He is good in any roles comedy or else but he was exceptional in LYF, don't know what's the "trick" but I became totally addicted, waching again and again and again scenes with him in that drama. And I want MORE. :) Anyone with the same feeling?

Nonsense. He is not awkward. The roles are "awkward". I gave a bad review on Go East, I apologize, to be honest I found the female lead so annoying that I dropped the drama / comedy because of her. While being in a boring holiday I followed and realized that it was a good drama / comedy. Around the middle I got used to with the FL - more or less - but they had a "love moment" in a bath tube - he is was not awquard. I think he can play whatever he wants the barriers are just the role / script. Can't wait to see him again in a drama with a similar role as Xiang Liu - totally addicted. :)

I read the basic, ADAPTATION OF SAME SEX. I don't need to read more as it is enough to turn me down not only for to watch the drama but for to watch anything with TJC again.
If you don't belive, check back, Hollywood died with sick and brainwashing materials, Kate Winslet (one of the most talented living actress) openly told if there is no auswich movie there is no Oscar, after that she was banned. There is a dark force guiding everything including dramas and movies, some accept some resist.
But the end of the day you'll die, you followed an unnatural agenda as the best brainless slave ever, why do they care to entertain you more when you are already caught? I doubt you understand even to this point, so just let it go, peace

TJC should make a choice, and fast. As this drama was not yet broadcasted and maybe won't be (however I doubt, the Chinese gov rather good to mislead people to make them belive that the people choice was too strong...) the end of the day, it will kill you. For one if I ever saw you in a drama similar in the Frozen Flower, I not only don't want to see you any of new dramas but will nullyfy all of your work in previous dramas as a straright, 'normal' desirable man, we-all-dream-of-man-like-XiangLiu.

It is not about how good actor you are (and you are good) it is about, how soft is your spine under the pressure of your goverment (undrstand, but can't accept, some of us in the west litearlly risking our lives to save lives in the past 4-5 years since the start of the hoax blamed on a non exsitent v and caused by irradiation).
