There is nothing ironic about it, I admire the talent of TJC, despite of his shortcomings like being short and having an average face. If I never could watch him in LYF as Xiang Liu, I highly doubt I could have noticed him. He is absolutely talented but not outstadning in the harsh race of "beauties" nowadays.

I hope it will be broadcasted, I love TJC and finally (finally what a joy) I love FL, after watching her in an other drama (You are the One), beautiful and extemly charismatic, I am not homo, but her beauty still got me and her talent didn't ruin the feeling. Can't wait. Probably will be a big firework with 2 such talented actors. In you are the one she even "stole" the fame of the other very talented actor, the ML, she was the sparkle to follow. Please show this drama.

I am sorry, I know I can be annoying but what is slow burn romance and how slow it can be. You either react (in real life) to the opposite sex of man / woman because of misteriuos things (probably EMF and frequency related, elecromagnetic related) or not. What's the point of wasting time for face-balming, the guy is either a good match or not. These slow romances is absolutely an imaginary stuff for me and a sign they are not fit well or at all. :)

I've been living here for 17 yrs, but apart from visiting it to visiting the embassy, I gave it a miss. I would say that the smaller cities and towns are more likeable, more reflecting the country as it was. If you liked it try to find a BBC series, Pride and Pejudice, this reflect the best of the charm of the old England and english life and awsome with its (not CGI) colours and buildings and also because of the customs and characters. Next time bring and EMF meter and you'll understand especially if sensitive, UK is the worst place in the earth as there is no control, even China allows much much lower values. After 3 weeks here you'll be very ill with flu like symptoms like the worst flu you ever had. Then take time to read the In- visible Rain Bow from A. Still deliberating after watching the first part, while it was interesting enough, TJC plays a completely different character (compared to Xiang Liu) and while he plays it well, he is just a not so handome or attractive or hot or whatever poor Harry Potter imitation, not the guy who would look at twice or even would notice. But as overall conclusion I don't like modern Chinese dramas, I find them extremly boring, dumb, controlled (food and carrier, maybe chlotes and cosmetics - oh please), I really can't understand how ppl can cope with that level of GREY living there. Anyway, at this point I would say no. But as our tastes can be different, I advise to watch 2-3 parts on Youtube and decide after it. I probably will give a miss to it.

I watched the first part on Youtube to decide to watch the whole or just forget about it, sorry I don't like modern Chinese dramas as they - due to the control above ppl' lives and what can or can't be discussed - tend to be exremly boring. I might watch it, but it is not a good role for him. He is versitle, naturally good actor - but I never ever would fell for him based on this role, or Cao Pi's, was played well but he is not attractive, not handsome just a very good actor who didn't make you to fall out from the drama emotionally because of poor acting. Xiang Liu was the best role of his. The hard, superman like guy, serious but a comedian, beautiful but being a poor Harry Potter, not so handsome imitation.
You proved your talent in many different kind of dramas - could you please chose an intelligently not challenging (dumb) drama where you can shine as a clever "super-man" either a great politican, ruler, demon - whatever but forgetting about the simplified, extremly boring everyday-chinese- environment? Thank you in advance.:) Still so miss Xiang Liu. While you acted very well in everything you chose, without knowing you as Xiang Liu I probably couldn't have noticed you as you are not a bad actor to be spotted because of lack of acting.

Sorry, FL is not someone I would imagine as a beauty of attracting a guy at first look considering everything including her deceptive and shameless personality. If you are not a natural beauty then only personality can balance it - but hers was very petty.

Yes, a bit better with time and experience. Hold on, all together it was a good drama, not so silly and shallow we have to be used to it nowadays, the story is good and TJC is also, FL grew up a bit to her role with time.

Was my problem, too. It's just... no one can have anything about the one's appereance, I am ashamed but I don't like her very small eyes, there is no way I could find her being attractive hence, I can't live in the drama where she got the best male - based on what - because only temper could make some not so pretty to be beautiful, but at the beggining she shamelessly ... from others for disgusing herself, she shamelessly took advantage on the ML even sending him to... j. I liked all of the characters but her, if it is not TJC I never ever would bother to give a second chance to this drama. It was great, TJC and supporting cast were also great, however it was not TJC cup of tea. To be very honest, I never would notice him without the role of Xian Liu. I saw him ages ago in the Three Kingdoms, he is an extremly good an natural actor - but not the guy I would fall love with. Xiang Liu was the role he could shine as much as make as believe he is the best male in this world. :)

Healty relationship is definitely my taste, the problem is timing and lost time, unless you are a bored princess, you have no time to pamper you with a basically boring, never ending, slow burning romance to replace what you don't have in your life. I am strong enough to admit that I don't have this level of love in my personal life but as I am not a an of being suicidal, the "drug-romantic series- substitution - matters a LOT. Hope it is clear now. I want Xiang Liu back, whenever I am upset or just struggling with insomnia I use him to make me relaxed and a bit more happy. From the botton of my heart I THANK YOU to TJC to be so good to give happy drug pills with no side effect. Thank you!

I don't live in London, I live in the UK for 17 yrs, but even just shorly visited London for embrassy like business I felt I wanted to escape. I think its fame is overrated, As about the facts, it is the worst e-smog ridden part of the world, even you in China have better regulation. Whoever arrives in the UK will develop the nastiest flu ever BUT JUST AFTER 3 WEEKS being here.
