While I still think that TJC is the best in serious custom roles, he surely have a good taste to pick up good scripts. While I absolutely don't like the - all together so boring, brainwashed and controlled till your ass - Chinese dramas, he managed to shine again and pick up material with the possibly less boring parts.
FILTER is very entertaining whether you wish to download a conclusion or just enjoying it as comedy with big depth.
I always thought that if TJC would walk on the street clsose to me I probably never would notice him, but there is something in him which is outstanding after a second look.
The comic (not so comic) drama is good, after a short trailer with the alpaka I thought what lame BS, but I was wrong.
This guy is a genious, a magincian, he appears and can breath to life into anything or almost.

Yes, seriously, the ML should grow up to his capabilities. Watch Tan Jianci, comic roles or seriuos roles, he is good no matter what. He doesn't have half of the "charm" of ZLH, not tall, less handsome, less outstanding and none of them came from an actor-training-high school. I really like him, the SOTK P will be one of my biggest favorite of all times, I even read the novel - almost fully (till it was translated to English) - he has / his agent has poor choice of picking up good (not dumb) dramas - more than that, while he can project as being very handsome (sometimes not) he has no chemistry with his 'women' except Bai Liu. I don't know why, my best is that as he is not a trained actor, he has his own limits and can't fake emotions where there are no emotions. Nevetheless, I really like him I watched as much as could with him but his only outstading performance was the SOTKP - bad choices of roles? In this drama the actress with her horse-oversized-teeth, her absolutely lack of being smart, individual, the most boring person ever, ZLH might picket a role badly, but the drama is not boring because of him but because of the female lead and because of the BORING SCRIPT.

The female lead is the most boring creature in this world, I love the ML since watching SORKP, hence I sturggled to watch even 4 episodes to enjoy his warm smile and being handsome, but as I have no countless free time and no such handsome guy in this world to give my time to idiotic BS series to divert us to focus the important changes of our slave-lives, I dropped. There is nothing ironic about it, I admire the talent of TJC, despite of his shortcomings like being short and having an average face. If I never could watch him in LYF as Xiang Liu, I highly doubt I could have noticed him. He is absolutely talented but not outstadning in the harsh race of "beauties" nowadays.

I hope it will be broadcasted, I love TJC and finally (finally what a joy) I love FL, after watching her in an other drama (You are the One), beautiful and extemly charismatic, I am not homo, but her beauty still got me and her talent didn't ruin the feeling. Can't wait. Probably will be a big firework with 2 such talented actors. In you are the one she even "stole" the fame of the other very talented actor, the ML, she was the sparkle to follow. Please show this drama.

I am sorry, I know I can be annoying but what is slow burn romance and how slow it can be. You either react (in real life) to the opposite sex of man / woman because of misteriuos things (probably EMF and frequency related, elecromagnetic related) or not. What's the point of wasting time for face-balming, the guy is either a good match or not. These slow romances is absolutely an imaginary stuff for me and a sign they are not fit well or at all. :)

I've been living here for 17 yrs, but apart from visiting it to visiting the embassy, I gave it a miss. I would say that the smaller cities and towns are more likeable, more reflecting the country as it was. If you liked it try to find a BBC series, Pride and Pejudice, this reflect the best of the charm of the old England and english life and awsome with its (not CGI) colours and buildings and also because of the customs and characters. Still deliberating after watching the first part, while it was interesting enough, TJC plays a completely different character (compared to Xiang Liu) and while he plays it well, he is just a not so handome or attractive or hot or whatever poor Harry Potter imitation, not the guy who would look at twice or even would notice. But as overall conclusion I don't like modern Chinese dramas, I find them extremly boring, dumb, controlled (food and carrier, maybe chlotes and cosmetics - oh please), I really can't understand how ppl can cope with that level of GREY living there. Anyway, at this point I would say no. But as our tastes can be different, I advise to watch 2-3 parts on Youtube and decide after it. I probably will give a miss to it.
