True but the drama itself was not satifsying, to me at least. I wouldn't rewatch but yes, Bai Lu was very good as 'crippled' young girl. Moonlight Mystic was boring to me, I kept up only beause of the second leads, imo the problem was the ML there and the missing edge /charisma of his. Till the End of the Moon was full with plothols and unbeliavable silly stuff, even Bai Lu couldn't save it from that idol-edge it had.

Can't believe I didn't recognize Dai Lu Wa. She is one of my favorites. Will she appear later or I missed her, I am around the 7th ep. Sorry, I can't remember to chinese names, especially that writing and pronouncing is very different, can't identify her based on the character' name.

Do it! While BL is a versitale actress, her best fitting roles and best series were 1. Kunning Palace, 2. Legends. The Kunning Palace is similarly well written, no plot holes, clever, intelligent drama with good actors all along, if you like this one you'll like that one, too.

This drama is very good. Both of the leads are so perfect in their roles, so well fit to them.
So far I found just one part what shouldn't be there - little spoiler - blue contact lenses at that age, really? Absolutely minor, the cases are clever and super interesting, hooked. :)

Still enjoying it because of the leads and second leads, but getting confused not only because the story is a bit difficult to understand with the fast eng sub (often not time enough to read it) but because of the genre. Too much tragedy with too much comedy mixed. After a tragedy I don't feel like laughing on a "hot-pot" scene or similar. Also with those little parts of cute-to-be cartoons like the start or now at the 3/4 part (the diary) - it just doesn't suit. If they would leave out those meant-to-be-funny parts it would be a perfect drama.

I saw ppl complaining because of the acting of both leads, I can feel for them, how do you jump from tragedy to comedy acting just in seconds or almost. It is a weird mix. Normal ppl are (hopefully) not as shallow and emotion-less that can laugh and make jokes just after this or that dies. What a waste.

He hasn't got a "so hot" charisma but he has a "so professional" charisma, he is perfect for this role.

Finally, while there is no romance so far (I like it if it is not overwhelming), the story is intelligent, full of suprises, the costumes and vision is second to none. Thank you, I was so absolutely bored with silly romance and bad humour disguised as funny and romantic for targeting the 10 yrs old. This is different so far, and I love it as it keeps me at the screen, thinking and waiting what will happen.

Even if it is a fiction it is still propaganda, while I have no advers feelings toward Chinese I noticed that they are the best (brainwashed) slaves ever. Communism - talking about the Russian around the beginning of the previous century - made people (children and parents) to report each others, to elmininate groups to make even family members to a spy and doom.

Allow me to be honest, while I chose to watch some Chinese dramas - being disusted by Holy(pedo)wood I am not a sleeping one with 60 IQ.

I dropped at the part where she started to develop vaccines to cure small pox, people really should read after the real history of it and what Jenner did, what were the consequences of his quackery (E. McBean: The Poisoned Needle among other sources ), especially with the revolt in the UK, Leicester where men rather went to jail than let their children got that poison, women stayed alone with children sturggling to raise them and finance them, who were rich could opt out like paying a fee for not using that poison. There was a travel ban even back then. I felt like vomiting, there should be a limit of propaganda to fool people. The only good thing what Jenner's caused that still no compulsory vax in the UK!

Don't understand the high rating, dropped after 3 episodes. Boring, cheap and slow with casts I couldn't care less what have happened with them. There was not a single person I really cared for, poor acting with no charisma. Clearly the production saved on money, even their surroundings and customs were boring.

Tell me more, I could be his granny, I have different evalution when decide to like or not to like a drama.Modern Chinese dramas are mostly boring - to the hell - due to restrictions and this drama was a lame, only him saved it (a bit- without him saw him as Xiang Liu I probably would have dropped it at the second part or so). Chinese dramas are so boring but demanding tons of hours to get till the end.

First I gave weak score to the dama, but after rewatching it for JTC I realized that it was not bad at all. I didn't like FL but it is my own issue, the whole project was rather good and I am rewatching.
