Tonight I bingwatched all 17 eps and FL's brother is an ungrateful idiot. Just look at what Muyang did for him just to marry his girlfriend. Guy handmade a full set of household furniture for him, not to mention he totally re-invented a television for his job's sake.

Well, I live in a country where by legal means, wife taking money from husband without his consent is ok but when husband takes money from wife without permission it is called theft and punishable by law. Reason: because husband legally has to provide for the wife while wife doesn't have to provide for the husband. Although Chinese people have different religions, or maybe don't have a religion at all, they are easterners and have some cultural shares - so even from chinese point of view what he did was theft. In families, of course husbands secretly take money from their wives and I've never ever seen a wife sueing their husband for theft - but they make a huge scene out of it. Here, it was like nothing so - although I share your viewpoint somehow - it should have been made a bigger issue. For westerners it is even a bigger issue and they might consider divorce something like this.

Ok, I take it back again. He is not that bad. Their love story is actually interesting. For main story, it would be too cliche and boring, but as side story it is really good.

If their family is not begging on the streets, it means their rivals must have water in their brains. I don't know what they teach in business schools in Korea.
