I watch the drama with volume low but now I am realizing I have to rewatch so much BECAUSE MUSIC IN QUEEN'S HOUSE IS AMAZING.
It is freshly composed classical music with a twist. So... the dramatic scenes have church organs and dramatic chorus.... the funkyfun twisty scenes have violins and some kind of clapping sound... It is absolutely AMAZING music that goes so well with the scenes, and that adds to the drama a LOT.
Woman who swallowed the sun drama has music that is over the top and takes away from the scenes and makes it harder to watch.
The only other memorable music was in Iron Family, they had the SAME song in two flavors, one sad for tough times and one happy for good times... and the song is soooo catchy it probably topped the charts.
I think that some obscure drama like My Dearest Nemesis had amazing music, they used Roma (the proper term for Gypsy) music for comical and twisty moments. I rememver one more drama doing that. It works! perhaps Koreans dont react to that so they stopped.

Every scene has some flowers or live plants, which makes it look alive and pleasant..
And the freshly-composed classical music in this drama, with lots of dramatic church organs, is MASTERFUL it matches soooo well and never takes away from the plot, but enhances it. It is kinda dilluted Bach. It is absolutely amazing music for the drama and I think that is one of the key contributors to watchabiluty of this drama. The music REALLY ADDS TO THE QUALITY
I love how clothing is used to keep track of time. You see a different outfit for different days and that is how you know which scenes go with what day, and that is why it is possible to have "memory scenes" in the middle of "current" scenes and you dont get confused as to which scenes are for when.
Jae In and Mi Ran in their pant suits are super sharp dressers. Jae In in ep 79 is wearing a fake-gold goddess pendant from the preshistoric times. I am familiar with it because some was found in my home country. They are REALLY REALLY FAT women and represent fertility. I will put the links into a spoiler bc the link is too long :) you can also buy such stuff on Etsy as countries all over the world have these prehistoric fertility statues. FYI Africans and African Americans still prefer women shaped that way, in case you feel too fat compared to the skinny Asian actresses, there is hope!!!! Then I am admiring the handsome Doctor's navy blue suit with the copper-shiney tie with navy blue stripes and yeah white shirt. He looks really good in that too. Navy blue looks good on Koreans, bc I think it matches the shine in their black hair, but I am not sure, to be honest how it works. I would like to learn!!!. I was surprised with that BOOM! loud copper color on the tie, but it looks awesome!!!!! HGC on the other hand makes me nauseus with his drab color - he wears cheesy deep purple suits with brown shirt and tie.. aaagh... and navy blue suit with black shirt and tie... aaaagh In some scenes, I think in his bedroom? he stands in front of a violet wall and .. it actually looks good :) But in his office and other places... I am reporting him to the fashion police. He is tall so gets away with it but gosh he does not dress to impress at all. Paddy's fashion goes from a blah typical gray suit look all the way to crazy suits with crazy hippie ties, his tie with huge horizontal stripes is just crazy,...But it looks good!!!! It fits him and it looks good on him. Doctor's mom surprised me. I realized that she has a strong and athletic body, huge wide shoulders and back. It is covered under a huge shirt. Bc I guess the fashion requires some 20lb skinny models. I really dislike to see a woman and wonder if she is starving to death :) and if she has the energy to run after a bus or haul groceries home... I am NOT into skinny women at all. They look unhealthy and weak

I just googled Arab eye makeup because I remember seeing some really astounding pieces, like colors of the peacock on the eye - wow! stunning! it takes about 10 lbs of makeup and a whole day to put it on and take it off, and am sure it ruins the skin and creates wrinkles real fast :) not to mention that you cannot function with it... just try to sweat LOL or to sneeze LOL and the whole thing ends up in a puddle.... It is makeup to be used only for gala dinners and such.... for like 2 hrs max before it all falls apart. Well you COULD go to th gala dinner but you cannot dance there lol bc it would get all smeared... and if it doesnt... then it is so chemically toxic, it is killing you... BUT IT LOOKS PRETTY. So if you are a public figure that paparazi wil take lots of pics of, or if you are some woman trying to keep her prestige and/or seduce someone... then YEAH go for that glam makeup and look ah so pretty ... and unkissable LOL
Yeah I can just imagine a passionate night at the gala - you can LOOK at her but you cannot touch her nor go walking or dancing with her because she is smeared with gooey stuff all over .... you cannot touch her nor kiss her on the way home bc she is covered up with gooey stuff all over...
and then the passionate night after a gala with that make up on... The other lover has to wait like 1 hr while the made-up chick takes off all that makeup and washes up... By that time, the other lover must be already asleep LOL
I think I am the kind who would go out wild dancing with no makeup on :) :) :)
