I liked ep 3 bc the twist was so funky "I am the other woman" LOL and the situation was so realistic.
Then ep 4 was ... pathological imo. Disgusting and in the realm of a phych ward and abnormal issues of a mentally ill person.... too much blood sex in mental illness, I fast forwarded through most of scenes in the Motel.
HOw many s lines does the detective have? 50? I am somehow wonderinghe and FL will fall in love but I dont think they should. LOL The detectve needs to majorly change first. he is irresponsible.
I am impressed that the decetive is not interested in teachers opened buttons except for figuring out the crime. Is she luring him, knowing he has like 100 lines?

CS and MS are a senior couple in a friend zone for a senior home, there is nothing vibrant romantic erotic about them. Ok they cover that group of people. Dancer and Hairdresser ... welll ... he cannot act but they should get married too... They SHOULD have covered the younger peopele. SR and BS need another 1-2 yrs for SR to grow up... and may never take off..... and GS and DS should date and perhaps even break up if she finds someone younger, in shape, hot and sexy. DS just isnt. Or, DS should start going to the yoga classes and gym and some dance lessons. He is so STIFF that he as a lover gets B- probably so if he wants her to like him, he should work on it. Also, there were several times SHE tried to kiss him and he ran away bc it was too much. Well if it is too much then you are not ready to get married, buddy. Just keep her as a friend.

A tru e love has a certain magnetic pull, a certain attraction, a certain hotness where you WANT TO SPEND TIME around your loved one, you ENJOY hanging out with them. you enjoy holding their hand, sitting so close your bodies touch, petting their hair,, bringing them water and smiling into their face, kissing them good night, ... ... whatever it is for YOUR love - it is like having a pet - you pet your pet!!!! even if you are 90 yr old impotent senile person!!!!!! YOU EXPRESS YOUR LOVE. My parents in their 90s would kiss goodnight and she called him her lover boy to the end. They joked how he cannot marry anyone if she dies first bc she would be jealous. And so on.

SO THIS BASIC ATRACTION FORCE IS NOT THERE IN THIS KDRAMA between GS and DS, between MS and CS, and between SR and BS. Their relationships are *** D E A D **** and stuck in "FRIEND ZONE" kinda place. MS and CS might be one step ahead but still so... senior love friend zone... Dancer and hairdresser have a litle bit more but it has been so washed down and it is not genuine and not in all scenes. The Dancer actor cannot act, that's the problem.
Some people get married without attraction and seems like GS and DS will get married like that, but it is DEAD AND UNWORTHY OF LEAD STORY. That is my point.

I think Kang So and Bom had just a few moments of flirting but they got A+ on it, esp in this Sat episode, because it is so real. KS actor is great in acting that. He might have experience LOL or is genuinely talented to convey the feelings of attraction and coming closer.
The scenes of Bom spewing the beer, KS saying they were always close, witht THAT meaningful long look, and now she drawing him and he seeing it and then dancing around, whirling, then standing so close to her and she not leaving, you can just FEEL that taffy of genuine love and attraction energy between them, pulling them together and gluing them together in a very nice, genuine, and balanced healthy way. I think they ACED THE ROMANTIC SCENES. Just several minutes of their romance was so ... wow. The only pair in this kdrama that showed flirting, attraction and romance for real.

Chairman actor is experienced and he TRIED to convey this, he acted it out. Esp his scenes from the hospital are incredible flirting, romantic, sensual, erotic scenes, where he tries to catch her, sits next to her on that bench touching her entire body. But she is totally COLD, DEAD COLD, so all his efforts fell short. The actress just doesnt like him at all, not even to the point where she could fake something and ACT. She is unprofessional and not good at acting.

The only signs of attraction feelings I ever saw in the main lead couple is the Chairman, especially in the hospital, seeking her out to sit so close to her, body to body on that bench in the park, seeking her to play cards, seeking her in other instances to go pick fruit, travel places, sit in her truck for hours, etc.
It is not just the matter of script. He could have sat in her truck cold. But no, he ACTED very animated and interested. He took petals off her hat in the orchard. SHE DID NOT MOVE. SHE NEVER EVER RECIPROCATED.

HE is putting some eros into their relationship.
SHE is dead, unresponsive. The actress cannot act it. She dislikes the guy, period. There is soemthing wrong, she cannot even act attraction to him. She is too ... self centered or just dislikes the guy and cannot hide it, or whatever it is, she is DEAD UNRESPONSIVE

A good actor can fake it from their head and imagine that the frog is the prince and treat the frog as a prince.

That little proposal and "marry me" and some kiss is so .. out of context. She isnt moving, and then suddenly proposes. It is just ... not based on some true feelings.

Yeah I think GS and DS are NOT ready to get married. They should date.
She doesnt like an older guy out of shape. She wants a young guy who can run. For a long time. That's the bottom line.

SOME PEOPLE GET MARRIED WITHOUT EROS AND LIVE THOSE BLAND BLAH SHALLOW LIVES, BUT THAT IS NOT WORTHY OF THE LEAD STORY IN A 54 EPISODE DRAMA. That is my point.

I higly recommend the Phoenicia Pathwork lesson #44 on love, eros and sex. Sex is the physical act and some people live off that, just mate... . Love is that feeling in the heart, based on trust, friendship, etc And eros is the physical attraction that acts as a bridge between love and sex. It is what makes the sex meaningful and proper and yeah more enjoyable :) It is often there when a relationship starts, and then dies bc it is not nurtured. It takes effort to nurture it. Nurturing eros requires a tremendous effort!!!! No curlers, unshaen beards, baggy pants, getting fat, being too busy to go on dates, etc. IT TAKES EFFORT TO KEEP IT GOING FOR YEARS. SO most people lose it.
IF YOU DONT HAVE EROS , THEN YOUR LOVE TURNS INTO A FRIEND ZONE AND ALL MAGIC OF THE RELATIONSHIP IS GONE. THat is why ppl divorce or cheat.

SO our main lead pair is starting without any eros to begin with.

***** But that is too boring to be FL and ML story. ***** WHY PUT THAT STORY AS THE LEAD STORY WHEN IT IS A BORING MEANINGLESS SHALLOW STORY?

I am NOT buying into "older couple relationship" "less affection" and GS and DS being such good friends and having responsibilities etc. and that she has demonstrated how much she loves the Chairman bc she is babysitting his MIL. I am NOT buying into the story that GS is showing her love by being Mother Theresa and that qualifies her to get married. HECK NO. That is total and complete bs. *** GS BEHAVIOR SHOWS SHE NEEDS TO STIR THE POTS ALONE IN THE BREWERY AND THEN COME OUT AND DO HER MOTHER THERSA DEEDS. UNTIL SHE FINDS SOME HOT GUY WHO WILL KISS HER BACK. **** She is NOT ready to marry DS.

I think KS and Bom are the only ones really ready to marry. They check positive on all aspects - independent, healthy, properly flirting, deeply connected, trusted friends, who are very curious about each other and already seem deeply paired up for life. THEY should marry. I think they ACED the romantic scenes. THere was only 2 so far, when she spewed the beer and he said "they always were trusted friend" with a LOOK, and then Sat ep when she draws with that smile of "yummy!!!! i want this!!!!" and he "whirls around" and then stands so close to her and they stare at each other from like 0.5 ft distance for a long time. Wow that was a scene!!!! Excellent scene. They are ready to confess date and to marry

CS MS are "friend zone" senior impotent couple, so blah, Dancer and Hairdresser are ok but he is such a bad actor, and SR and BS need like 2 yrs for SR to grow up, IF she makes it. She might not.

True love needs love, eros and sex, and if you dont have it, you dont have a real love relationshiop. I havent seen eros in this kdrama except KS and Bom esp this Sat, and one sided Chairman - he sat so close touching his body on that hospital bench, he grabbed GS bare arm, he took petals out of her hair in the orchard, he sat with her in her truck for hours. ... HE kept seeking her company and affection in all kinds of ways. HE acted a person in love. Except when he didnt... GS tried to kiss him 1-2 times and he said it was too much. Well if it is too much, then you are not ready to even date. So do NOT get married. Period. So yeah DS is not ready to marry and do aerobics. He is too stiff, too out of shape, too set in his ways, and as a lover, he is completely non-appealing. Yeah I would find DS not appealing too.
GS actress never responded to DS romantic advances. In some ways, I understand her reaction LOL
That fake marriage proposal and kiss are so out of blue and out of context. OK if that is the start of opening the flood gates, maybe it will work out. But how it is, I dont think they should marry. The Queen's House and The Woman who Swallowed the sun are meaningful dailies so far. The first 17 episodes are .., a torture :) but set up the CONTEXT of the pits of darkness that the FL came from, as a total blockhead loser.
Haunted Palace, The first night with the Duke, and Salon De Holmes just finished... S-lines.... and maybe even Our Movie and Nice Guy airing now. There are TONS of older dramas... What do you like to watch?

Yes MIL is impressively progressive with her stances and GS's mother is ... not :) .... GS always chose herself. She NEVER chose DS. THat fake proposal on Sat nite was ... just pro forma. Also, DS never really chose GS... he kinda ... bought her.

I think he called the husband of his ex :) as a public figure, he WILL mind what his wife is doing :) also, I wonder if he knows she had a kid :)

Hm. The start was showing many realistic parts of life, many ugly, but from the comical point of view, so it very light and fun. THEN came the phase of pure realism and what it REALLY is like - politics, murder, etc. THEN it ended as a total... cheesy fairytale where all that bloody political stuff got resolved with some magic. So, out of a realistic gruesome situation we get a super happy peppy all rosey endings. Hm I am NOT buying this LOL the ending is clearly contrived.

Imo Ep 3 is so amazing, sooo twisty - "i am the other woman" and the anguish of families with the tradition of cheating. So realistic!
Imo ep 4 is wtf fun intented, so weird and bloody and just ... strange psych ward stuff.
For some reason I am expecting the detective and the FL to fall in love but I can't see how it would happen yet. He has like ... 50 lines? LOL he cannot even walk around without tripping from all that weight LOL And her no-lines interest seems like a better choice for her but ... the detective..... Maybe detective as a business partner for solving crimes... and the other dude as her boyfriend?
