Body Swap Drama Done Right Except The Ending

The body-swapping concept used in this drama was executed by the creatives and cast perfectly. The main thing to look for in this drama is the acting by both leads and the comedy. The little background music really added a charm. The leads acted brilliantly in my opinion. When the swapping happened, it reflected in the body language of both actors. They mimicked each other very convincingly. The comic elements were really refreshing. But the ending dulled the experience quite a bit for my liking. Overall, it was an entertaining watch for me.

A Smartly Done Time Loop Series

Time Loops are quite a bit used concept in dramas. But the creatives of this drama have managed to do it engaging enough for me not to get bored. Though the same things happened again and again, it was done quite smartly. Otherwise, for such a plot, it is very easy to get repetitive. The flow of the story was really good. The cast did a good job. Overall, it was a nice one-time watch short drama for me.

Enjoy The Journey

This is my first Chinese drama. I absolutely loved the drama. The casting, acting, and music were really nice. Though it is a long drama, the journey certainly feels worth it. This is a dark Wuxia drama. The characters were complex, and the emotions were really heavy. Though there was supposed to be a 2nd season, I felt the background of Chu Qiao and her powers were explored very little in Season 01. The action scenes were very nicely choreographed, and Zhao Li Ying was the star of the drama for me. The only drawback I would say is the ending. The writers should have wrapped up everything in one season. I am fortunate that I watched this drama in 2023 instead of 2017. Otherwise, it would have been too long to wait for season 2. Now that season 2 is being made with a new cast, I hope this story really gets a proper ending this time.

One of The Best Short Thriller Drama of The Year

This drama has everything to become an entertaining & captivating thriller series. The story, though, was about a time loop; it did not feel boring and repetitive at all. The writer did a great job. The story was presented smartly to keep it engaging for the audience (At least I did not feel bored). The cast was nice, but my only complaint is the FL. I did not really like her. I felt the romance angle was unnecessary, and the ML & FL did not have any chemistry. Other than that, this drama was thoroughly enjoyable for me.

A Nice Psychological Thriller Ruined By Poor Characterization of The FL

In terms of story, this drama is brilliant. This drama managed to keep me hooked until the end with its twists. The story is solid except for the poorly written FL. She was overly emotional for my liking. Though at the beginning she was nice, later I felt she just turned into a wallpaper, who was only being treated as the love interest of the ML. I did not like it. Apart from that, the story was brilliant, and Wallace Huo played the role of the complex ML pretty well.

A Poor Attempt To Drag The Episodes

This drama would have been a nice one, only if the episodes were shortened by half. The script did not have enough material for it to be a 40-episode drama. The story was filled with too many fillers, in my opinion. The 2ML managed to draw my attention more than the leads. There were some really funny moments, and I enjoyed those scenes. Though the drama tries to give a nice message about loving beyond one's appearance, it gets forgotten in this draggy mess of fillers. Overall, the premise of the drama was good, but it was ruined by poor execution.

An Absolutely Artistically Brilliant Cinematography But The Story Could Have Been Better

Positive Points
1. This drama was such a visual feast. This drama had one of the best cinematographies I have ever watched in a Chinese drama. The director was the star of the drama for me. The cast was nice. This has one of the most beautiful wedding scenes in the history of Chinese drama, in my opinion. I absolutely loved this drama.
2. I absolutely loved the portrayal of independent, strong women in this drama. The FL, though a bit unrealistic, was an absolute delight to watch. Her intelligence, damn care attitude was an absolute delight to watch. Her grandma was the main backer and guardian for her, and it certainly portrays the importance of such a guardian for a woman to actually flourish. Without such a grandma, it would have been impossible for the FL to be so decisive, independent, and strong-willed.
3. The leads had a beautiful relationship, and it was a delight to see a ML who is respectful towards the FL's choice and actions.
Negative Points
1. The biggest problem in this drama for me was the actress playing the FL. Although I appreciated her amazing visual chemistry with Li Yun Rui, I am not a big fan of the FL's acting in this drama. If not for the amazing cinematography, her lapse in acting could have ruined the drama. She was not bad, but she certainly was not that great at all. Her character was certainly not written realistically. To turn her into an all-rounder, the writer made the FL's character do unrealistic things, and it ruined my viewing experience. The FL learned medicine from her monk friend. But medicine is not something that you can learn overnight, and it requires constant practice to a certain extent. Here, the FL learned medicine within a few months, and she was prescribing medicine for the ML and also for her admirer like a professional doctor. She also performed acupuncture for that admirer with lung disease. She also cured the king with her earth-shattering medical knowledge. She also does not need to practice regularly as her ability never regresses. What made the writer think that medicine was such an easy thing to learn? If the writer wanted me to believe it, it would have been better if it had been shown that she had studied medicine from childhood. She can also shoot with precision without any practice, which is also odd. Any kind of knowledge needs practice, no matter how talented a person is. Even if you can't show her showing such scenes, as it kills time, you should not also show unrealistic things that she got it right from the 1st time. It's rubbish and not believable at all.
2. No matter how good the cinematography was, the story was a bit slow for my liking. Though the story was slow from the start, it was still great until episode 20, in my opinion. Later, I felt the story slowed down a bit too much for my liking. The storyline could have been made a bit tighter.
Overall, it was a great drama, and I absolutely loved watching it.

A Great Romance Thriller Turned Overwhelming Due To Its Finale

This drama started absolutely brilliantly. There was everything in it from mystery, thrill, romance, and proper relationship development between the ML & FL for me to love this drama. I thoroughly enjoyed the drama until the 11th episode and was utterly disappointed after I watched the last episode. The Argan track felt completely unnecessary to me. The leads had a great understanding between them, so the Argan track did not make any sense (at least not to me). Also, I would have loved to see their proposal and wedding track instead. Though they got a happy ending, I felt something was missing in the last episode. Overall, it was a very nice drama that I loved watching.

Swagger of Song Joong Ki That Drags On A Bit

This K-drama is a lot different compared to what I'm used to watching. The cinematography, acting, and direction were brilliant for me. But the comic part later on felt a bit underwhelming to me. The story could have been wrapped up easily within 16 episodes for me if the creatives had toned down the unnecessary parts. Towards the end, I was quite impatient. Song Joong Ki was the star of the drama for me. I loved his Swaggar. The villains got their proper karma, and as a viewer, I was thoroughly satisfied. Overall, A very nice and classy drama.

A Great Watch

Trigger started strong. The actor playing the villain was the star of the show for me. The concept behind normal people pulling the trigger felt interesting to me. The ending, though, felt a bit illogical, but it was what a drama should promote, obviously. Violence should not be promoted irrespective of logic. The story was tight and thrilling for me. I liked the atmosphere that the drama managed to create. Overall, it was a very nice drama.

A Great Cast With An Underwhelming Script

The story started well, but later, as more cases came up, it started to feel deliberate ignorance by the investigators to create difficulties. (Especially the arson case). They had found the face of the criminal long ago, but were deliberately letting him off by not arresting him. I found it to be a bit dramatic and illogical. I did not find it thrilling at all. The only thrilling case was probably the one where they desperately hunted for the face of the serial killer. The promise was good, but the story was lacking in my opinion. The casting was great, and they had delivered their best. Overall, even if I did not love the drama, it was a nice one-time watch.

Started As A funny Cute Story But Later Turned Irritating

The story started nicely. It was funny. The FL was so fun to watch, but as the episodes went by, the story turned boring and irritating for me. The ML & FL had nice chemistry, and it could have been a great drama if the writer had kept the vibe of the initial episodes. Sadly, the writer lost the opportunity by turning it into a melodramatic drama (At least for me it was melodramatic). I did not exactly like the FL's character later on. The story had good potential, but rather went into ashtrey due to poor writing and execution. Overall, I did not like the drama.

A Brilliant Story Ruined By Its Ending

The relationship between Do Jun and his grandfather was the soul of the drama. There was no need for a romance angle for the ML. Moreover, I did not feel the chemistry between the actors. The romance angle felt forced to me. I enjoyed the dynamics in the Korean Chaebol shown in the drama. The actors did a good job. The screenplay was nice and I loved the addition of showing real key historical events to mark the timeline in the drama. The ending felt like coming from another universe, as I at first did not understand where that episode came from. I, as a viewer, felt cheated by that horrible ending. But if I leave that last episode out, it was a brilliantly executed drama.

A Nice Slice of Life Drama That Feels Dragging Later

The story started well, and the dynamics between the leads felt entertaining. This started strong, and the comic part was done right. The creatives tried to address the mental health issues, and it was done nicely. The acting of both leads was nice. I loved their chemistry. I especially found their school days to be more entertaining. But the main issue is that the story felt dragging to me. The big secret did not seem big enough to me at all, and this drama could have been wrapped up in 12 episodes, in my opinion. Overall, this is a decent watch.

A Nail Biting Dark Crime Thriller

This is my first Taiwanese drama. By chance, I discovered it and became a fan of Wu Kang Ren. The thrill element is maintained until the end. Though the series is a bit dark and gory, the pacing is just right to keep it from being overwhelming or boring. The actors have done a very nice job of keeping me engaged. The villain is actually smart and not just in the name but in action as well. Though it is not a drama that can be repeated many times, it was a very thrilling one-time watch.
