Title The Heart Killers Spoiler
The negotiation scene between Kant and the Captain was quite intense and interesting.

Kant's offer: Give Ruerat & Lilly but let Fadel & Bison go (murder charge) in exchange for not exposing Cap's bribery

Captain's offer: 5 years jail for the duo, while wiping Kant's car theft case (original offer)

I think Kant is a good negotiator since he started off from a position of weakness and turned it into a position of strength. Captain actually had the upper hand since murder + car theft is much more serious than bribery but I guess Cap really wanted to keep his job.

Does everyone think this trade deal is worth it? We should all learn from Kant how to make the Art of the Deal 😂

Idk, it did make sense to me. They both are very aware that they are literally criminals who murdered multiple…
Agreed. Even Fadel and Bison knew what they did was wrong. Even though they were groomed and manipulated by Lilly to be killers, they still pulled the trigger and killed those people.

No police officer in the right mind will let them go just because of his own dirty laundry (bribery which is less serious) and so taking the deal was the best option.

True, I knew they wouldn't kill her and didn't expect it but still I expected catching her to be a bit more dramatic…
They ambushed her at the party which was kinda cool. She didn't expect it so she didn't bring a gun. That’s why the most she could do was to lie and beg for mercy. If she had a gun with her it would be a much longer stand-off.

The negotiation with the Captain when both sides had guns was interesting and has tension (could be better) as both sides negotiate under intense pressure and blackmail.

I'm sorry for the being the odd man out. But, ep. 11 made no sense, even for a dramatic pause. I guess the fantansy…
Do you mean Bison and Fadel taking the plea deal and surrendering? From their perspective, 5 years jail for murder(s) is a very good deal when the alternative is to run from the cops for the rest of their lives. If they do that, they won't have a single day of peace or be able to settle down with Kant and Style respectively.

Fadel bringing Style to his (future) tombstone is such a plot twist, by the way. LOL. Very Fadel, very poetic.
So true, I feel that FadelStyle's story is much deeper and more engaging because Fadel has so many layers which Style and us see slowly be revealed. Fadel had loved once before and got hurt by that, always blaming himself, causing him to shutoff from everyone else.

Only someone like Style is able to have the patience and persistence to take the time and effort to get to understand and heal Fadel.

okay, but catching Lily was so anti-climatic. wym the plot just ended like that??
Haha true, but they can't kill her because they still needed to do the deal with Captain and hand her over to him in order to negotiate a lighter sentence.

I agree that Fujisawa has issues. He is definately emotionally manipulating Sei, saying that he cares for him…

the 4 in jail is going to be an adventure 🤣🤣
Haha yes, they will show us how Bison and Fadel deal will the bullies in jail. Our boys may be sweet and lovely with their bfs but they are still tough guys! Don't mess with them! They were hitmen after all.

Damn. I'm really not sure if I'm still crying because of the really sad episode, or because the two really had…
They did have to go to jail since they did murder people, even though manipulated by Lilly. However, what's unexpected is that instead of showing us in Ep 12, they showed us in Ep 11 which means we have one episode where we would see their life in jail and then a final happy ending.
Replying to Nari75 Feb 6, 2025
Did they just go to jail without being trialed or judged? Lol
Perhaps they just didn't show the trial. Since Fadel and Bison took a plea deal with the cops for 5 years of jail, the trial would occur very quickly anyways since they have already settled everything beforehand.

BTW since the crime accusation is serious (murder), they will go immediately to jail before and after sentencing. There won't be bail to allow such dangerous criminals out before the trial.

Damn episode 11 fucking insane. Seriously those romantic moments and romantic music, those crying moments. What…
Fadel and Bison did kill people. Yes you could say that they were manipulated and groomed by Lilly but they still pulled the trigger. By negotiating to 5 years of jail, its already a very good deal considering the severity of the crimes. Plus they were willing to take the deal since the alternative was to keep running away the rest of their lives.

BTW, even though Kant got the dirt on the Captain, bribing someone is still a much less serious crime than murder so the Captain still has much more negotiating power if he really wants to throw the book at Fadel and Bison and even re-open Kant's car theft case if he was really an asshole.

Yes, i really liked the deeper meaning behind FadelStyles actions. The whole relaitonship feels deeper than KantBisons.…
I agree that FadelStyle's story feels deeper than KantBison. At first, we think that Fadel is so hostile for no reason or its just his personality, but both we and Style slowly learn about Fadel's painful past and Style's insecurities which he shields by talking big, hence making us emphathize with both of them.

KantBison is "lovey dovey" because its Bison's first love and because its Kant's personality to be sly and say the right things to Bison. Hence their relationship feels a bit too smooth or simple compared to the more complex FadelStyle which has more twists and turns.

Yes, there are many hints that Fujisawa is extremely manipulative and controlling over Sei if you look carefully.…
Yeah indeed. I think its just his personality to take full control over Sei's life and keep him emotionally dependent on him using a carrot and stick approach. He's always dangling the carrot saying that he made a promise to take care of Sei forever after Sei's breakdown in university while using all these passive-aggressive remarks as sticks to break down Sei's self-esteem and confidence.

Yes, there are many hints that Fujisawa is extremely manipulative and controlling over Sei if you look carefully. Sei's life is basically adapted to fit Fujisawa perfectly (eg. no TV or LINE), and most telling is that Fujisawa "forgot" to let Sei keep in touch with his university friend.

I agree that Fujisawa has issues. He is definately emotionally manipulating Sei, saying that he cares for him…
I think he is bi since he did seem into having sex with her and initiated it constantly at the start of their relationship. She is the one that may be trying to fit in since she later on rejects sex and thinks that Hagiwara is "too masculine".

I agree that Fujisawa has issues. He is definately emotionally manipulating Sei, saying that he cares for him…
Its because of the cheating plot, which is the crux of this story. They think its easy to simply break up and throw away whatever emotional attachment the 2 main leads have with their current partners.

The drama shows the painful process of falling out of love in an old toxic relationship and falling in love with a new, mutually caring one.

Because the story is uncomfortable, others criticize it, but if they want an idealistic story, there are so many other BLs out there.

Of course I love our main leads Hagiwara & Sei. Both of them have their own unique charms. Hagiwara is caring, reliable, charming and masculine. His personality is that of a great lover and has a lot of love to give if only his partner knows how to appreciate him, which his current gf doesn't.

Meanwhile Sei is sensitive, kind and understanding. His personality craves love and acceptance and thus is the kind that would greatly appreciate the love given to him which his roomate can't give.

Thus, Hagiwara & Sei are really a perfect match that complement each other and they need to get out of their unhappy relationships ASAP.

Title When It Rains, It Pours Spoiler
Both Hagiwara and Sei have been emotionally manipulated and gaslighted into staying in sexless and dead relationships by their respective partners. Of course cheating is not good and they should have broken up with their partners first before hooking up, but this is not that kind of idealistic show.

For Hagiwara and Shinomiya, it is common for couples to drift apart sexually after dating each other for a while. However, their complete lack of communication as a couple is shocking and I guess common in Japanese culture where people tend to keep their inner thoughts inside and pretend nothing is wrong. Shinomiya not only rejects sex without providing any reason/explaination, she even demeans her boyfriend to her married friend. This slowly demoralizes Hagiwara and makes him feel worthless and emasculated despite his best efforts in making her happy. I feel that she takes him for granted, assuming that he will always be there no matter how badly she treats him.

For Nakrai and Sei, there are many subtle hints that Fujisawa dominates Sei's life after his life fell apart in university, which is especially evident when Sei is pressured to cut ties with his old uni friend and he basically controls all aspects of their living situation (ie. no TV & LINE). Fujisawa tells sweet things on one hand, that he would take care of him, keeping Sei hopeful yet denies him any physical intimacy. This keeps their relationship in a state of limbo, which they are more than friends but less than lovers. Perhaps Fujisawa really believes that he is shielding Sei from the outside world, but the way he expresses his care is completely wrong. Sei ends up having very low self-esteem and even self-hating, becoming emotionally dependent on Fujisawa.

I don't like fuji b/c he really can't explain his self he never said clearly if he likes him or not (that way)…
I agree that Fujisawa has issues. He is definately emotionally manipulating Sei, saying that he cares for him forever but denying him any physical contact, keeping their relationship undefined and in a state of limbo, being more than friends but less than lovers. Sei both resents the rejection but is too emotionally dependent on Fujisawa and sticks together because of the promise that Fujisawa made to take care of him forever.

I think Style will fold first and switch alliance from the Captain (who he doesn't even know) to Fadel and help the assassin brothers. Fadel is also more level-headed and would accept Style's betrayal (which isn’t that deep) much better. Hence i take more comfort in FadelStyle being ok.

For BisonKant however... it would 100% end up in a flaming pile of garbage. Bison is the crazy ride or die type, and he would definitely destroy Kant once he finds out his betrayal. It seems that Kant is still fully on board with Captain's plan, and this would cause friction with Style.

Both Captain and Mother are shady characters manipulating the guys on either side for their benefit. Ironically, Mother is the big fish that the Captain is trying to catch, so the simple solution is for the four guys to work together. However, their lack of trust and communication is what’s preventing them from even thinking of this way... for now.
